Visited this dealer as I was due to change my A6 and liked the look of both the F Pace and the XF. One guy actually spoke to me to say he was busy but one of his colleagues would come over soon. There were a number of sales people around but after standing around for 15 minutes not one of them came over to see me. They obviously must have all their sales in for that month! I have since ordered a new Audi as their customer service is far superior!

Great staff until they get your money then they find imaginary things wrong with your vehicle that conveniently aren't covered by warranty. My brake pads were apparently '95%' worn. However upon replacing them myself I found them to have over 30% of the friction material left which is well within spec.

NEVER BUY OR TRUST THIS COMPANY.. I bought an x type jaguar from this company before I bought it I said the clutch seemed a bit warn they said not a problem bring it back if you have any problems... About 10 months later I took it back as the clutch was slipping the manager got one of his macanic to test it he said yes it needed changing... I pointed out to the manager I had been advised by my regular macanic that if the clutch was to be changed that the fly wheel needed changing too as it can cause problems if you don't, in fact it is recommended so much.that if you ask to purchase a clutch only from a wholesaler you have to sign a disclaimer as they won't give you a warranty if you don't fit both parts at the same time.. Anyway the clutch got fitted I asked if they had replaced the whole clutch the manager said yes.. about 6 months later I was thinking of selling.the vehicle so thought I would ask the jaguar garage for some proof for my paperwork that the full clutch assembly has been changed ... I was told by the service department that only.the clutch had been changed not the fly wheel .. I couldn't believe it I had been lied to by a manager. So I spoke to the manager and he confirmed that the fly wheel hadn't not be fitted because the macanic who inspected said the fly wheel didn't need changing .... what a load of rubbish. If you have ever dealt with strathstone jaguar you will know that the sales staff and servicing department staff cannot sneeze without going.back to there manager to see if it's ok.. the amount of times the salesman went to discuss things with.the manager was unreal. This review is my opinion and experiences with company you cannot trust them if I was advising a friend I would say don't deal.with this company unless you have deep pockets.. Update - Head office emailed me to say they wanted to help with complaint however it after a MONTH of waiting for them to get back to me I contacted them again but all they did was get the manager to call me and he said that they had set procedures and he is completely truthfull and would not have said he fitted some part if he had not ? After a while of talking he said bring your car in and we will take a look at it to diagnose the problem - so I ask if the problem is the flywheel will you replace it - he said no they would not as he does not feel he would have said that to me ? When ever you are dealing with garages like this get everything in WRITING - Lesson Learnt EVEN AFTER THIS REVIEW they did NOTHING !!!

Like all official premium car manufacturer dealerships, it's very professional and gives a great impression when you walk in the door, even when you arrive with your broken-down vehicle on the back of a flatbed recovery truck. Also, like all official premium car manufacturer dealerships, it's expensive to have work done there. Par for the course, unfortunately. I found it a good dealership, but I have docked a star, because I wasn't called back in a reasonable time when I called to ask how my vehicle was progressing: 'a few minutes' promised reception, but I had to chase it an hour and a quarter later, which I don't think is commensurate with either the brand, or the sums of (my) money that are involved. I *know* the dealership has my mobile number, so why not a quick text, or two, to let me know that I haven't been forgotten if there is some reason for not being able to call me back?

Went to pick up an approved used car on Monday 26 March 2018, we arrived at 9.45 and left at about 13.20. We thought we would be their about an hour or just over, they came with the wrong paperwork for us to sign, it was for a different car and model, then they had to get new paperwork for the right car, they kept appologising and saying we will only be a couple of minutes , Three and a half hrs later we left the showroom, having missed a family freinds funeral at 12.00 and my partner missing an appointment also at 1300 hrs, No sign of a good will gesture for keeping us their all that time, Do they want people's custom or not ? It has put us off going back to that garage. When I got home and had a look around the car, there was no socket to remove the locking wheel nuts, they are looking into that ( might have to order a new one ) Not impressed with Stratstone Jaguar Newcastle.
