Looking to buy a new car or a very good second hand car look no further very helpful sales staff who don't turn there back on you as soon as you buy s car. Excellent after sales will fix a problem how ever big or small. Always check anything you sign for . I have had 3 cars from brand new not had one problem or one bill that I thought was wrong. Diabolical customer service combined with incompetent telephone system leading to a culture where the customer is almost irrelevant. 

I would suggest the point where the customer is irrelevant is just after the sale had been completed.

I wont be using this dealership again. I received a reminder for my Hyundai IX 35 MOT which was due for renewal. I had a letter giving me a free MOT from the previous time I used this site. Unknown to me the dealership had changed from Lookers to Evans Halshaw. I travelled from Hexham (a round trip of 30 miles) fully expecting a free MOT. The previous day a polite lady rang me as a reminder, she asked me how I intended to pay for the work, I explained the free letter and the person who signed it, she told me to bring the letter in with me and it would be honoured. It wasn't honoured and I was charged a reduced fee of £20. I spoke to the manager who offered me a discount on my next service. My family have bought both new and second hand cars from Evans Halshaw but I'm afraid they have just lost three long serving customers for the sake of £20.
The person I spoke to about predating the MOT in advance as it was within the month of its renewal date, didn't know this could be done and after an argument he admitted he got it wrong.
An uncomfortable annoying experience which shouldn't be the case in these days of looking after your customer. Having spent thousands of pounds with this company I wont be spending any more. I will look elsewhere.
