Had a really enjoyable 3 night stay at this fantastic Bed & Breakfast. Ideally situated in a quiet part of Winchester but only a short walk into the town centre with all the sights and attractions. Large comfortable bedrooms looking out onto the garden and a generous breakfast that sets you up for the day. And Dotty, Nick & their family are very friendly & welcoming hosts. Would highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast when staying in Winchester.
Brilliant location, large room in beautiful old house and with free parking. Very friendly hosts and excellent breakfast. Will definitely be arranging another stay. Would highly recommend. Walkability: 10 minutes walk into Winchester.
Beautiful house in a fantastic location. Wouldn’t consider anywhere else when visiting Winchester. Perfect breakfast. Felt completely at ease with Dotty and Nick. Nearby activities: Close to all amenities shops bars Cathedral Walkability: Easy walking distance to town etc.
What a find !A lovely warm welcome from Dotty and Nick into their beautiful grade 2 Queen Anne home. Great location 5mins on foot into the town of Winchester.Friendly ,inviting breakfast around a table in a gorgeous working kitchen Thank you Zoe and Dotty.Had a great 2nt stay with husband and friends celebrating my birthday.Rooms: 4/5
Well ... what a treat !!! Dotty & Nick were so warm and welcoming from the very start. An absolute beautiful grade II listed house, stunning large room, the beds were so comfortable and our private bathroom was lovely and clean. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay, including the freshly cooked breakfasts from Nick each morning, whilst chatting away with us at the table - so a huge thank you for giving us such a relaxed and wonderful break away !! Fantastic location too - 5 mins walk from town. Will DEFINITELY be back !! Jo Wales & Ali Newbury
Stayed here just one night. Extremely welcoming and friendly host, showed me my room and brought fresh milk up for my tea. The room was great and clearly had had money spent on it and the bathroom. Great hot power shower and feather pillows and duvet - lovely. Breakfast was at the farmhouse table in the family kitchen, all freshly cooked to order. Very much recommended. Couple of minor niggles, part of the bed head frame was broken so rattled and the sink plunger had jammed so had to lift out to drain the sink - but these were minor, the stay was great
This place was stunning. Beautiful house with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The room we were given was huge, with lovely views out onto the front of the property. The bathroom was in a fun little room within our room loo located in seperate space just a couple doors away along the hallway. Perfectly clean, i mean spotless lol. Items such as towels, dressing gowns, bathroom bits and tea/coffee items provide for use. Multiple options for breakfast, from fruit to cearal to a proper fry up yummy which is cooked and dished up in the absolutely magical kitchen. Dotty is such a lovely lady, fun and friendly. My husband and I had a amazing time, and can't wait to come back with our little ones. My daughter with adore Dotty's adorable Bengal cat . Literally i could happy move in there, love Winchester and love St John's Crofts B&B.
We have just had a very pleasant four night stay in Dotty and Nick's amazing 18th century home with its large walled garden. It is ideally located, a short stroll from Winchester's historic centre but with an almost rural , villagy feel. Easily accessible from the A31 it is quiet and tranquil with good off road parking. Breakfast is served at a communal table in the huge kitchen. Hearty and wellcooked by Dotty. The layout encourages conversation with one's fellow guests. Thoroughly recommended. We will be back.
Excellent b&b, very relaxed and great people, will go again when in the area. Thanks.Rooms: 5/5
