Spice Land Restaurant

I flipping love this place!!! The mutton rolls are amazing just thinking about it makes my mouth water, (you have to be fond of spice though), i would literally order 15 of these to my house , but its easter and there closing soon, its worth the journey because the taste is superb! 😍🤤

Typical Jaffna café canteen type establishment. Passes the mutton roll test. Does the job for beers and bites, visky and short-eats. Solid thali.

The overall food quality, known standards and respectable reputation of this restaurant are dropping tremendously fast. This once cool food establishment is no more what it used to be, with its over priced, lack of authentic flavours, oily foods. The condiments on the table lack the freshness smell/taste. The mutton in the kothu roti is always dry and chewy, and the chicken in the biriyani is overcooked and dry. The staff are smug and rude. It's so unsatisfactory at this place!! I've chewed into raw dough in the meat roti's on two occasions. Ask them to heat two spinach vadai for takeaway and watch the brown bag they give you turn into a bag smothered in oil 😫😱

I would not recommend this restaurant to first timers and people looking for sri Lankan food. My wife and I ordered traditional string hoppers along with chicken and mutton curries. We had very high expectations of the restaurant to give us a little taste. of Sri lanka After consuming the food, both my wife and I were bed ridden for a couple of days with food poisoning.

I've is Indian srilankan foods really nice taste and spicy chicken curry,muttan curry,briyani is really lovely taste .
