Great food (the chips really are quite good) in a relaxed, stripped-down setting. A good range of real beer on tap makes this place a real credit to the area. Take note of the lunch deals; for £5 I had a chicken burger and small side of chips - great value and hit the spot perfectly. You'll probably want something larger if you've skipped breakfast, but if you're not exceptionally hungry it should do just fine.

Best burgers in Croydon, no contest. The presentation doesn't look like much, but the food is delicious and definitely the best onion rings and frickles I've ever had. There's a ping pong table and they serve craft beers. Decor is simple. Staff are friendly.

Great burgers including a veggie and a vegan option, good selection of beers and sides - the rosemary fries are a favourite. Set inside Matthews Yard, a chilled space with sofas, ping-pong table, outdoor seating, regular art and theatre performances.

Great little Croydon hangout with decent craft beers, sumptuous burgers, and an array of fun games. The menu is creative and the service is great!

went here on Friday, had a really nice german beer (served in the correct glass) and enjoyed decent music and a game of ping pong. Great atmosphere - good crowd
