The same van has caused 2 near accidents in the last month, shooting a cross the roundabout near The Vauxhall in Tonbridge @ 7.55am. I witnessed him almost cause another crash today, he didn't look just drove straight across causing the car in front to brake and me to nearly go into the back of it. I saw the same thing happen 3 weeks ago. I tried calling 5 times but no answer. Sort your drivers out- This will be reported go the police
Great team and despite a problem with the new van they dealt with it quickly without fuss. Dealing with problems makes great service. Love the new van.

Treated with contempt and passive aggressive behaviour on many occasions with a warranty issue on a brand new vehicle By service staff. I will no longer purchase VW products.
Company does not like being wrong. Van broke down with fuel issues, recovered to Tonbridge Site for diagnosis. From this the workshop sent an email with the findings which said the fuel was contaminated with an outside source and we would need to pay £9,800. Having been sure we only use bp garages, I asked for a fuel report that was not done. So this got to the point of me testing the fuel using finnings, of course the findings came back fine. Thinking this will help the workshop team I was then told the management don't care about the findings and if we don't trust the work they have done to remove the van. We did this and took it to a real vw workshop to then find out today the issue is a common fuel pump issue and this would all be fixed under warranty. 2 months without a van and loss of earnings, I've tried to reach management at this depot to no luck. Looks like we will be looking at legal action.
Purchased a New Volkswagen Transported this week through the sales department at SMG from start to finish made the whole process very easy especially dealing with a chap named Liam down there!.. Great Customer Service / Great Team, Thanks Guys
Shame about the service !I have just purchased a 21 plate Transporter and the van is great - no questions 5 stars for the van. The customer communication/care on the other hand was very frustrating. All was fine going through the buying process with Liam Sales Guy until I went to collect the van, the van still had finance against it even though it was a VW lease van - so I could not take ownership and had to go home 3 hour round trip with a courtesy van. A couple of days later the van was delivered to me with 3/4 tank of fuel at my home so all good. However trying to get a reply with questions following payment that I had was hard work, simple stuff like the breakdown cover booklet was not with the van and asking Liam to provide contact details or a copy of the booklet still has not happened, phone not being answered emails being ignored in my mind is not great customer service. I messaged the sales manager and still no reply. Its only little things however I would have given 5 stars if the customer service was taken a bit more seriously.
Rang 5-6 times before someone picked up. Left a message for Jay to get back to me and he didn’t. Rang later in the day as no one got back to me and no one picks up. I was persistent but gave up. Unless you walk in you have no hope of anyone answering the phone. Can’t believe anyone is that busy that a quick call can’t be returned.
Absolutely shocking customer service. They never answer the phone and if they do lets hope you dont get put through to Robin! She is a disgusting member of staff, how she got a job in front of house who on earth knows. Rude and hangs up on customers!
Servicing, we can’t thank Mary enough for all the help and information that she gave us. We have been purchasing vans from here for over 20yrs. Always have a lovely welcome and willing to listen to our needs. Helping to keep us on the road. Thank you
