Hello and welcome to Horsepower's Facebook page!

For those of you that don't know, Horsepower are a large independent car dealership located in Tonbridge, Kent.

Our busy car dealership operates from 2 former main-dealer premises conveniently situated opposite each other.

We stock a variety of vehicles for sale and there’s no hiding the fact that we love Land Rovers, so you should always find plenty for sale!

All of our vehicles are price-checked daily giving you the peace of mind that you’re going to get a great deal.

With two large fully-equipped workshops we are perfectly placed to deal with every aspect of vehicle maintenance and after sales.

Our experienced and highly trained staff love their cars, know their stuff and will always be polite, professional and friendly making your visit a pleasant and memorable one.

I'm very sad to say i had to leave one star as i would rather not have left any.Anyway if you're thinking of buying a car from these little cowboys don't bother.The cars are very average,prepared to a very poor standard or not at all.Sales people don't really have a clue what day it is,just an awful all round experience.In this day and age with so much choice around why would you spend your hard earned money with these clowns??  Beware and AVOID!  *Follow up to your reply*  Just to amend to your reply,of course i'm not on your 'customer database' as i won't and never will be a customer of yours.Many thanks

I can only say good things about Horsepower. We bought a Land Rover Discovery 4 from them around six months ago and we would happily recommend to friends and family. 

I'm updating our review as we've now had the car MOT and serviced by the Garage twice (+ a few other little odd jobs). They provide the  best customer service we've ever experienced from a Garage. They are amazing. 

A great example of this is when I recently broke my leg and was unable to drive but our car was due for its MOT and service. I called the service department, and they arranged for one of their team to come and pick up the car and then return it the same day once they had carried out the work. Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone's incredibly friendly and their work is second to none.

They also  sent a video to us which walked us through the work they had done - a fantastic idea and one which we feel highlights their professionalism and dedication providing their customers with outstanding service and value.

We would recommend them to anyone

I came into the establishment on a Saturday . I was serviced by a salesman that was called Peter. At first the customer service was brilliant especially as it was a busy day.

I was looking to buy a new car, as my car now is falling apart. Peter got the keys and showed me to the car i liked the look of. He then took a phone call from a different customer, this was rather unprofessional as I wanted to be shown all the electric gadgetry the vehicle had to offer. As it was a Saturday I know the guys were busy so I brushed it off. He then proceeded to take so long that I started to view different cars one of which took my fancy.

I waited for 10 mins and yet Peter was still on the phone so I took it upon myself to speak to a different adviser. I gave him the keys to the previous vehicle and requested the others and he did it straight away, he saved me from walking out to be honest. 

Peter came back from outside proclaiming that its busy and if I liked the car I said "yes, but its competition with others" and he then immediately thought I was talking about a different car dealership and he then started to walk back to his desk and forgot I was a potential customer. I said "no, the one on your lot" so he grabbed the keys from the young gentleman and said how I need to be quick because hes busy and doesnt have all day for me. Very unprofessional and rude, which is a massive no no in customer service. I journeyed 20 miles to view the car to be then treated very badly.

When I first read the vehicle advert it had a great segment about how customer service is the main focus but Peter gave me one of the worst customer services I've ever had the unfortunate to receive. I wrote to a service adviser on their website and spoke to the young gentleman at the dealership requesting to speak with a manager as I wanted to give them feedback but the "manager is unavailable at the moment" came up. It has been 5 days and I have yet to be contacted even though I've given all my details to them. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but since I've had no call or contact I'm going to leave this review.

I do have a young face and they could have discriminated against me and thought "young bloke wanting a Lexus? In your dreams, pal." but I had the money to spend and that car was in my price range. I do not recommend this shop, good cars and I'm sure they're not lemons but the customer service was dreadful and if I'm about to hand over £10k I expect pristine customer service.

Horsepower was unknown to me until I bought a used car through them just recently, so this was a bit of a leap in the dark. The car we came to see was presented beautifully and had an AA Inspection Report that I was able to see. The two minor concerns we had about it were corrected promptly as were any queries we had before pick-up. The staff we dealt with were exemplary – thank you Peter, Josh, Ben and Steve. My experience has been that what you see is what you get – and that what you see is of a very high standard. I would buy from them again. Thank you guys.
