I had an amazing stay at Queens Gate Hotel in London! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure I felt comfortable. A small delay at the check in due to the rush hour of arrivals! The room was spotless, stylish, and well-equipped, offering all the amenities I could need. The location was perfect – right in and out of the heart of the city, close to major attractions and convenient transport links. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of options to suit all tastes. What truly stood out was the attention to detail and the warm atmosphere that made the experience feel special. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting London and will definitely stay here again on my next trip. Thanks all the Reception and Concierge team..
Our stay at The Queen’s Gate Hotel was really great. The location was terrific and right down the street from the Royal Albert Hall. The family room was AWESOME! It had a king bed and two twins in a separate alcove. It was perfect for our stay in London. We loved that a diverse breakfast was included and that they cleaned the room each day. I don’t know if the other floors are this way, but our room was on the main floor and the ceilings were VERY tall. It made it feel extremely luxurious. The location and value were great, and we would absolutely stay here again.
A couple of weeks ago, I posted a review highlighting a couple of issues experienced whilst staying at this charming hotel for the weekend. When booking out, I made my concerns known at reception. The lady manning reception was so apologetic and by the ‘wounded look’ on her face, genuinely concerned. To my surprise and pleasure, the next day, the Reception Manager telephoned me at home to express her regrets at my experience, explaining how service had been compromised by an unprecedented ‘no show’ of several members of staff. Having run a business myself, I fully empathised. However, she accepted my complaint and thanked me for my input, saying that customers views are always welcomed and never ignored and that, subject to availability, we would be upgraded on our next stay. It’s so refreshing to have experienced this professionalism and consideration. How many times in the past, at other hotels, have complaints been greeted with a blank look and then brushed aside? We plan staying at the Queens Gate again in January – the location is superb, facilities and cleanliness are first class and the staff so kind and welcoming – they’ve made us feel really valued guests. Still highly recommended.
Very pleasant staff on reception, and also communication wise, prior to stay. Very nice room, which was clean, comfortable beds, and a lovely, powerful shower. Nespresso coffee machine with complimentary Ristretto coffee pods!. Complimentary biscuits and teas. Bottled water was provided and that's always good. There were plenty of lovely big towels and complimentary toiletries. Air conditioning always a must. The surprise cheesecake, for two, was a wonderful moment. There was a knock at the door, and it was presented to me for my son and I my sons birthday was the purpose of the trip. The cheesecake was presented beautifully, and it was very much enjoyed. We really appreciated it. We opted for breakfast and took advantage of the buffet - which was all so delicious. There was so much choice full English, continental pastries, fruits, cereals.... There was so much, and we did go back to have a bit more! The freshly squeezed orange juicer was my delight that I'll always go for - and there was lovely coffee. The location was absolutely perfect - we had a show at The Royal Albert Hall, and we also did the Natural History Museum. Everything was walking distance. We would definitely stay here again. The price for a twin room, in the heart of Kensington, was incredibly cheap £199.Breakfast was £20 per person, if you were staying. Thank you for such a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We'd not hesitate to book with you when we are next visiting London. Nearby activities: The Royal Albert Hall, Natural History Museum, Science Museum, shops, restaurants, tube stations, Kensington Park Gardens.
A Magical Stay at Queen’s Gate Hotel—Where Guests Are Truly Cared For Our recent stay at Queen’s Gate Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the hotel’s charm, the incredible hospitality of the staff, and the perfect location—just a short stroll from the Royal Albert Hall. The room was elegant and comfortable, and the food was superb. Every detail seemed thoughtfully considered to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. But what made this stay unforgettable was not just the beautiful setting or the excellent amenities—it was the genuine care and kindness shown to us in a moment of panic. After a lovely breakfast one morning, I experienced something that any traveler dreads: my wedding ring slipped off my finger and disappeared down the bathroom drain. In that moment, I felt a wave of fear and sadness, thinking I had lost something irreplaceable. I quickly went to the reception, where the staff immediately assured me they would help. Within moments, they sent one of the maintenance staff to assist us. His name, I believe, was Johnny, and from the second he arrived, his calm and confident presence put us completely at ease. With a warm smile, he told us, “Don’t worry—I’ll find your ring, even if it’s not in the drain.” His reassuring words and positive attitude made us feel so much better at a time when we were feeling anxious. We waited in the lobby, and just 10 minutes later, Johnny returned—not only with my wedding ring, but with it cleaned and wrapped in a neat piece of tissue. The relief and gratitude we felt in that moment are hard to put into words. Johnny’s kindness and professionalism turned what could have been a disaster into a heartwarming memory we will never forget. He made us feel valued and cared for in a way that went beyond the call of duty. What truly amazed us was how Johnny handled the situation. Not only was he incredibly skilled, but he was also so kind, smiling, and treating us with such warmth and empathy. His demeanor was the perfect balance of professionalism and genuine human kindness. It’s rare to meet someone who makes such a strong, positive impact, and Johnny truly did. Our stay at Queen’s Gate Hotel was remarkable in every way, and Johnny’s act of kindness elevated it to something truly special. It’s the little moments like these that make you realize how much this hotel genuinely cares for its guests—not just through its luxurious accommodations, but through the thoughtfulness and dedication of its staff. We left Queen’s Gate Hotel not just feeling rested and happy, but also touched by the exceptional service we received. We can’t recommend this hotel enough, and we look forward to returning soon to relive such a wonderful experience.
What a gem of a hotel we have fallen into …. After a train journey delay and a massive taxi queue we arrived to be greeted by an amazing quick check in, a concierge who was so helpful and informative and booked a lovely restaurant nearby for our dinner … the room was clean spacious and airy, quite unexpected for a London hotel. Breakfast was full of variety and plentiful they went out of there way to ensure you had your eggs perfect .. the area is so central you have 2 tube stations close by that can move you anywhere round London but so close are Royal Albert Hall, Natural History Museum… this hotel is so central to the tourist spots and a perfect place centre your stay in London … we will be back as there is so much more to see

I recently stayed at the **Queens Gate Hotel** and had an exceptional experience! From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The hotel's location is fantastic, just a short walk from some of London’s best attractions like the Natural History Museum and Hyde Park. The rooms were beautifully decorated, spacious, and immaculately clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day of exploring the city. I was also impressed with the modern amenities, from the fast Wi-Fi to the quality bathroom products. The hotel staff were incredibly attentive and went out of their way to ensure my stay was perfect. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of delicious options, catering to all tastes, and it was a wonderful way to start the day. Overall, the Queens Gate Hotel offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and excellent service in a prime location. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting London!
I had an amazing experience with Sophia at the reception, even though I wasn't a guest at the hotel. She went above and beyond to help me solve my issue with kindness and professionalism. Her dedication to ensuring I was taken care of made all the difference, and I can't thank her enough. Thank you so much, Sophia, for your truly outstanding service. Your kindness made my day!
I would return here in a minute! The concierge were wonderful and although the room was a bit small, it was updated and bath was large room. Lobby/ Front room was stylish and cozy!
