Dr Abdul Hussain is by far the worst and most horrible person ever, I was sat in waiting for around 6 hours had to stand a lot because every time I would check there would be others taking your chair, I managed to get an xray done after all that wait time xray experience was good but then came the horror I was sat for another hour until they bought the doctor bear in mind they have 1 doctor and 1 nurse for all of those people because apparently everyone else left to go home and there are no other doctors except from Abdul Hussain I was called by him in a rude and stern manner he immediately just said ‘you are fine no bone breaking or dislocation’ place an ice pack on I was in an incredible amount of pain like I’m talking about a solid 8 like I can’t sleep eat drink because of the pain I was trying to find my way around the ice pack solution I asked if there is any numbing crème or injection he can give so I can eat he rudely said don’t you ever dare question a doctor again i am a trained doctor and I said I know I’m not questioning you but I really need something other than an ice pack I am in a lot of pain he said I can give you paracetamol I asked again if there is anything else that can be done he then threatened me and said i can either take the paracetamol and get out or he will get the security to come and kick me out bear in mind I’m a 16 year old with a very painful injury and he is acting like I am a threat or something. I then accepted the paracetamol, then he got a nurse to give it to me she has blonde hair and she had it put in a clip idk her name I asked for his name she said any complaints can be made on the …. The fact that she knew it was a complaint means she already knew this isn’t his first time like this also he took me to a unsterile room with blood and wrappers and masks all over the place. If you get Abdul Hussain as your doctor be careful from him
Saturday 28th December.nVery painful and blood shot eye.nHad a bad night so arrived at 07:00, self checking in on the screens, and seen shortly after by Triage.nnAfter over 5 hours had enough and left, did receive a phone call 45 minutes later asking where I was so would have been 5 hours and 45 minutes.nnPlace was cleaned up once , not that bad actually just people to lazy to use the bins provided.nnAll vending machines working, and the free tea /coffee trolley showed up twice.nnDon't know why it seems acceptable to wait nearly 6 hours but NHS needs less managers and more doers, apparently 1 pen pusher for one doctor or nurse.nnWould seem paper clips and staples are more important than patients.nnAttending doctors personally Monday to get appointment, get the eye seen to.nnImpressed NO.
Today 16th December 2024. I have been here since 11pm 15th December. It has been 7 hours and my daughter has not yet been seen. She has either a broken or fractured ankle. Her ankle is double the size while we are waiting. No staff to assist in the waiting area. Water spillage gets cleaned 2 hours after so a slip hazard for some one like that had a balance problem due my bad knees. Empty bottles, dirty used tea cups and tissue on the floor. Home less lady has sleeping on chair with her language. Other home less have walked and happy snoring away. No staff here to check. At 5:15 a staff has come with the tea trolly. Was very rude to one of the men when he wanted a sandwich. Said to him your not being patient there fore you will have to give the sandwich to the other man. One patient is being seen every half hour. Only 1 doctor coming out to call the patient. This is crazy . Maybe they need to get more staff. Stop rejecting highly talented people like my son that would do justice to the job. That want to work to help and lean not for the money only.
Waited 5 hours from 1am till 6am, gave up because I noticed barely anyone in the room was being called. The nurses were nice however the wait time was appalling. Where are the doctors?? Wasted ££ on uber to and from just to not be seen! Some people were coughing up really badly, another had a bad eye and they were waiting as long as I was, probably even longer. Please please have a solution for this as I believe that minor injuries could’ve been dealt with quickly if there were enough staff.
Firstly waiting for over 5hours is absolutely ridiculous. These NHS workers who call themselves professionals act like they are over worked, I saw a doctor looking at the waiting room and the look on his face was so obvious. These individuals chose to work in this profession to take care of their patients and save lives. If you're going to have that kind of attitude then you're there just for the wage! Also 5hours for a pregnant woman to wait and for the elderly it's wrong it's absolutely disgusting. And When taking bloods have a professional Phlebotomist who knows how to take bloods. The lady who took my bloods she left the belt on my arm and decided to take it from the hand which was fine, but the blood wasn't flowing so she decided to poke the needlenmore not realising she's left the belt on my arm which was obviously causing some sort of disturbance to the blood flow! Those who I saw in that hospital looked like they didn't want to be there and didn't want to sort out the patients. You have a duty of care towards the patients if you don't want to be in this profession then I suggest you set your priorities right and work else where. I feel my 5 hours were wasted doctors couldn't do anything for me I should have been referred straight away to a gynecologist from start. Instead NHS 111 refused to refer me and even the idiotic gp out of service he refused too! Later I found out I could have been referred but they chose not to because they couldn't be bothered to do a referral!nnWaiting time needs to be looked at urgently and referrals should be made appropriately. Minor injuries should be dealt with by a senior nurse and supervised by a doctor this way the queue of patients will be shorten. Major injuries should be seen to and quickly assessed. I understand hospital are busy but this was absolutely crazy the waiting area was over flown people were sitting on the floor and standing!nnThe only positive outcome I would say was the check in screen which I personally think is useful, than talking to a rude receptionist.nnReceptionist should have a professional manner! not be so rude to patients who aren't well and need help. I am disgusted with this hospital, what has become of Q.E! The public use to praise NHS during COVID time now what’s happened! They don’t want to care for their patients they just want an increase in their wage! They leave and demand their rights but they forget the purpose and the role of their job! What happened to humanity.
