Had a good experience here. The waiting area was spacious with good number of seats, and it wasn’t too busy on a weekday. We were assessed quickly and then saw a doctor in an almost reasonable time, which made the visit feel smooth and reassuring.nThere is a charging station for smartphones and devices, which is super handy when you’re keeping kids entertained.nDespite some works outside, the entrance was still easy to find, with decent signage and pram-friendly access.
I am under the Birmingham children's hospital and I have been for 12 years so far since 3 ½ and the nurses, doctors, cleaners and all the staff are very professional and supportive of anything you are going through. They are always there to help. I must say in particular they have been amazing with CKD as I haven't really been admitted to other departments but overall a incredible and special place . I feel welcomed every time without fail
The staff work very hard, the doctors and nurses are doing a great job. The clinical team are kind, caring and professional. The only thing I would say is that maybe staff need to remember people are trying to sleep at night and modify the level in which they talk at the nurses station to each other.
I brought my son in due to him falling off a bike and he had accidentally hit his abdomen in the handlebar and we were very concerned about internal damage.nnOn arrival everything was so quick and he was very well looked after with great care and thoroughness. The staff were super friendly and considerate.nnI would recommend to anyone with children in Birmingham and the surrounding areas to come here as it is super professional.nnReally have nothing negative to say.
Birmingham Children’s Hospital is amazing! My son is receiving treatment here, and I couldn’t be happier with the care he is getting.nnThe nurses in Ward 1 are so kind, caring, and always ready to help. They make sure both the children and parents feel comfortable and supported.nnThe doctors are true professionals—they know what they’re doing and take the time to explain everything clearly. I feel confident that my son is in the best hands.nnOverall, our experience has been the best, and I highly recommend this hospital to any parent who needs great care for their child.
