I took my baby here for an MRI under sedation. The staff were very thorough at monitoring him before and afterwards.nAnd the MRI staff were very good with him. I can not fault them. They also reassured musket and my husband and explained the process well. We are so grateful to them all who helped our son! Thank you to Neil Bugg, Lisa Flauell, Cathlea Cabrera, Ahmed Ben- Khoud. You’re all incredible and are doing an amazing job!
nExceptional Care at Birmingham Children’s HospitalnnMy baby recently had an operation and spent almost a month in Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Throughout our entire stay, the care we received was absolutely outstanding.nnThe staff looked after my baby with the highest level of professionalism, skill, and compassion. Not only did they provide excellent medical care, but they also supported us emotionally during what was an incredibly difficult time as parents. Every nurse, doctor, and member of staff treated us with kindness, patience, and genuine care, which made a huge difference to our experience.nnA very special thank you to the PICU team and Ward 11 — your dedication, reassurance, and hard work will never be forgotten. We are forever grateful for everything you did for our baby and for us as a family.nnBirmingham Children’s Hospital is truly an amazing place, and we cannot thank you enough.
Went to A&E with my 11 month old who had both viral and bacterial infections. We were triage immediately and took a couple of hours until we saw a doctor observations done in the mean time. Within three hours, baby was on IV antibiotics and antiviral. Got moved to ward that night and had to stay 2 nights. The accommodations, facilities and staff were absolutely brilliant. They genuinely took great care of baby, parents and even my visiting g children got 1-2-1 arts and crafts and catering staff offered them pizza - staff way beyond their duty!
I went here and oh my god, it was genuinely the best hospital ive ever been to, where do i even begin. When i faced extreme stomach pains the hospital staff was so kind and the waiting in the emergency department was MAXIMUM 15 minutes. I stayed overnight and they were so considerate. The staff tried not to scare me when i told them that i experience severe health anxiety. Everything went smoothly, they treated me like i was a human and not a body.
I am under the Birmingham children's hospital and I have been for 12 years so far since 3 ½ and the nurses, doctors, cleaners and all the staff are very professional and supportive of anything you are going through. They are always there to help. I must say in particular they have been amazing with CKD as I haven't really been admitted to other departments but overall a incredible and special place . I feel welcomed every time without fail
