I recently had my first ever operation at the Priory Hospital, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Rajiv, my surgeon, and his entire team were outstanding — professional, reassuring, and incredibly skilled. They made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish.nnThe nurses on Aston Ward were equally wonderful. They were caring, polite, and attentive throughout my stay. A special mention goes to Lynne, whose kindness and calm presence made a huge difference. She was amazing and helped me feel safe and supported during a time that was completely new and a bit overwhelming for me.nnOverall, I felt truly looked after by everyone involved. I’m very grateful for the excellent care I received and would highly recommend Priory Hospital and the Aston Ward team to anyone.
I recently attended the Priory in Edgbaston for a pre-op assessment and a surgery. For my pre-op, there for almost 4 hours but the team were incredibly patient, supportive and kept me in a good mood despite how anxious I was! Special thanks to Sam who made the process easier and was really lovely to me throughout the day.nnMy surgery itself felt very quick. As someone who struggles with anxiety, Anita, Yamini and Catherine and Marty at Dudley Ward were very kind and caring. Yamini and Catherine were very calming throughout the night when I was panicking from the horrible gas pain, and Catherine was so lovely by helping me use the toilet, brush my teeth and get into bed. Thank you Marty who helped me walk in the corridor. I’m so grateful to the staff at Dudley Ward who kept me calm and in a good mood despite how nervous and scared I was.nnEveryone at the Priory are so friendly and smiley from the catering team to the surgeons themselves, it really makes the process easier for a patient. Thank you.
I felt as if all the nursing staff went out of their way to make this pre-op assessment a happy, safe, reassuring and peaceful visit. And it was! The nurses are friendly and chatty, and it's clear from their speed and efficiency that they are very experienced and knowledgable. What a splendid group! Looking forward to my next visit!
On behalf of Claire Portman: The staff on Dudley ward were excellent. I didn’t need to ask for anything as they had already thought of it. The theatre staff were brilliant and really supported me as I was nervous. The recovery team were brilliant when I got upset. Other than the pain from the operation it was an excellent experience. I didn’t feel rushed or a nuisance. The care was excellent and I felt cared for and a person!
Priory Hospital Dudley wardnThe most amazing friendly, kind caring team I have ever met. Form the theatre nurse who took me for my procedure the anaesthetist the nursing team they were friendly and kind and made me feel completely at ease and safe, they listened they took time with you and nothing was ever too much trouble. From being terrified they all calmed me. My surgeon amazing and so kind. The catering team and the cleaning team all so friendly and pleasant.nThe priory should be so proud of your teams on Dudley ward
