This was my first time being in hospital so was very nervous as I did not know what to expect. The staff that I encountered were brilliant they made feel really relaxed and had all the answers to my questions which gave me a lot of confidence in there abilities to do a good job. The whole experience was great even though I'd just been cut open and was out of it for a while, the staff were very helpful and happy in what they were doing which helps so much as a patient as we a nervous enough with the procedure that were taking place, that just helped ease the nerves. I would like to thank all that were involved in my operation and thanks for the after care received it was brilliant.
I received amazing care and treatment from the first appointment to leaving the hospital. The room, staff and care made me feel more relaxed about my surgery and confident that I would be fine rather than being worried. It felt more like a hotel visit than a hospital visit. Thank you.
I’m very satisfied with the care I’ve received from my consultant Mr Simon Radley during my colonoscopy. He is an “EXCELLENT” surgeon , I highly recommend his services.The entire team at the hospital displayed a high level of professionalism and made me feel comfortable throughout my procedure. Also, I would like to recognise the Pre-op and Recovery Nurse Sam for her professionalism and kindness.

My experience is very positive. From the moment I entered reception, I was treated positively & professionally. What really impressed me, was that my wife was waiting in reception & when I was in recovery, a member of staff reported that I was ok. Very nice touch. Well done Edgbaston Hospital.
The hospital and my room were very clean. I had my own room with bathroom. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. My person needs were taken into account. The whole stay was good, my surgery went well and I was well looked after.
Yesterday I had a surgical procedure under Mr Dhaliwal. The initial consultation was most informative and I was pleased to note that we were able to explore all the surgical & treatment options. In the day, the Reception experience was easy and particularly friendly, as was the gentleman who took me to my room which was immaculate. I must acknowledge the care I received from: Sue, my nurse - calm and knowledgeable - great attention to detail. Lenda, the HCA who escorted me to theatre - good luck on your career path. The OPD, who received me, said all the right things and held my hand - you know who you are. The anaesthetist who was quietly very informative throughout the pre-med Not to forget the really nice smile I got from the two staff members on Reception as I left. Great team, Mr Dhaliwal. I have a long career in healthcare commissioning and have often worked alongside the CQC and other regulatory bodies in monitoring healthcare quality. My experience was exemplary - well done, Edgbaston Hospital.
I was referred to you by my GP as an NHS patient in the autumn and considering the huge backlog within the NHS I assumed it would be a year or so before my procedure, yet here I am recovering at home already. From the first appointment with my consultant Mr Harmeet Singh Khaira I have been impressed with every member of staff I have come into contact with. At all times I could tell I was being looked after by professionals who were passionate about their job and they truly are a credit to you. Thank you for your wonderful caring service Colin Addis .
From the minute I arrived to leaving I felt everyone was only there for me, staff looked happy and pleased to see me. Makes you realise the pressure the NHS are under. Massive thank to you all the staff and doctors.
Received excellent service from all the nurses and doctors involved overall was a good experience for me and the procedure was done in a very professional efficient manner
