My husbands consultant is great can't fault him ,but some of the staff in the blood clinic need to learn about empathy and compassion . There is no need for rudeness and treating patients like they are a hindrance. The guy who works there is the only one who has any manners and kindness . Patients go through enough without having to deal with people like this sort it out
I cannot thank this place enough. The level of care n support here is just amazing. Had chemo/radio here was a very tough journey but the staff and my amazing oncologist got me through it. Dr elmodir is just the best!! You feel heard everytime you chat to him. He's always on the ball with every bit of care you get. I will be forever grateful to the cancer centre, Dr elmodir, all the chemo n radio staff involved in my care. Also Louise the cns nurse....nIf you're due to go through treatment here rest assured you are in the very best place and the safest hands. nThankyou so much
This hospital provided treatment to my late father who passed away Nov 2023 following 6 years of treatment.nI cannot begin to tell you how grateful we are for having the opportunity to have this much time with him and that is thanks to the amazing staff here who were kind, compassionate and really listened to the patient receiving care.nMy dad was a massive fan of his Oncologist Mr Openshaw who always took the time to listen and NEVER gave up on him. He is an absolute credit to the Oncology department! His people skills are superb, not just to my dad but to everybody I saw him with.nHe never rushed appointments and always came up with a plan which is exactly what my dad wanted, involving all of the family too.nWell done to the cancer centre and a special heartfelt thank you to Mr Openshaw, you are a very, very special man.nThere were many other wonderful nurses there too; the team really are fantastic!
Great nurse specialists from start to finish with my chemo and surgeries
This is not a review to scare people but to open your eyes to enjoy every minute you spend with your loved ones, oncologists can extend the inevitable but unfortunately do not yet possess the tools to save lives!
