Bed was comfy, room was very quiet given the hotel was fully booked that night. Great location for a gig we went to. Room was okay, tap in bathroom leaking, toilet wouldn't flush, air con not working, skirting board mouldy and coming off wall. Hotel seemed a bit outdated, Some of the staff seemed very offish.
Was within walking distance of old Trafford cricket grounds where we went to see a concert. Friendly night staff, only really used the bed to sleep in and it was comfortable and clean. Bit overpriced. No room service
Stayed here with family to go to a concert locally. The rooms were clean and had everything as expected. I felt the rooms were more re updated than the last few premier inns I’d stayed at. We did have an issue which was quickly resolved….we had no water at all. They were fixing something in the adjacent room so had turned our water off. As we had 2 rooms booked, we shared the other rooms facilities as we didn’t have enough time to wait. Anyway, we decided to have a drink before our Uber arrived. The bar was supposed to be open at 3pm but there were staffing issues. They did very kindly go and serve us a drink. Unfortunately there was an issue with the chiller system and all the draught beers and soft drinks were off. These things happen hey. The killers were amazing!!! Beds super comfy! I was the only one to go down for breakfast. The restaurant was clean and tidy, tables cleared etc. even though I went towards the end of service, the buffet was well stocked. The staff seemed friendly and approachable. I was asked if I wanted anything else before they began clearing the buffet. I was served by Rick, Sam and Shaun. I never felt odd being on my own and be ever felt rushed, so thank you. I went back to wake my children and to get sorted to check out. I couldn’t wake my son in the other room and he had been sharing it with my brother who had to check out early. The chambermaid very kindly unlocked the door for me. Another thank you for that! She did stay in the corridor to ensure I was who I said I was. The last issue came when paying for the car park. My brother had left without paying and I was trying to pay it for him but his car reg was already off the system as he’d left! A gent who worked at the hotel could see I was struggling and he explained I needed to get a cope from reception and scan it on the machine to get the night rate. He very kindly came to a solution for my brother too and honestly I wasn’t expecting such helpful people!nSo even though we had no water and the cooler was off, the staff certainly made up for it and made the stay a good one. I can not recommend this hotel anymore! We booked 2 double rooms for 2 nights, and our experience was awesome! The reception staff Aimee and colleague were friendly, welcoming, and accommodating to our needs. The rooms were really nice and had great views with tea and coffee facilities, tv, comfy beds, and walk-in showers, which were special and made our weekend stay great. Along the way to our rooms, the staff we met were helpful and accommodating to our needs and one of the chambermaid even ran ahead to open doors so we could go through with push chairs all the way to the lift. Breakfast, dinner, and the bar were very nice settings, with the staff being very friendly and helpful here together with all staff we encountered, which were great too.
Stayed here ahead of a game. Great hotel, great staff, and fabulous rooms.nnI asked for an early check in and it wasn't a problem. Also asked for a room with a view and this is what they gave me!nnThe hotel is ridiculously close to the ground and easy access to the tram line took me less than 45 minutes to get from the Airport to the Hotel.nnIt was also much cheaper than the overpriced hotel across the road.
