We arrived quite late at night and we were met with one of the friendliest people I've met at check in before. He was so lovely. Really kind and very helpful, chatted with my 2 excited children who were telling him all about their competition the next day, and he was telling them how there were lots of cheerleaders in the hotel. We were made to feel very welcome. The room was tidy and all ready for us, it was the perfevt temperature too, not too hot like you find some rooms. We won't hesitate to stay here again next year.

Clean and spacious room, warm welcome on check-in, wonderfully comfortable bed and a really good hearty breakfast. No complaints!

Great rooms and friendly staff only let down by a noisy environment nearby and the fact I got food poisoning from the Balkerne Gate restaurant linked to the hotel. Still no contact from anyone of importance in management in the head offices of Premier Inn or Table Table, the restaurant. Customer care several lacking.

Friendly staff. Ample parking. Pub next door. Rooms clean and warm. Standard premier inn. Traffic can be very heavy on main road. Handy for A12.

The satnav took us through a very basic side street with potholes, and through the car park of some industrial units, which was a bit off-putting as it wasn't clear exactly where the hotel was. However, this isn't the fault of the Premier Inn, which did have a very nice entrance off the main road. The desk is staffed 24/7 and every member of staff we saw greeted us in a friendly manner every time. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they even offered to help my boyfriend out to the car with our bags which was a great help as I'm on crutches so couldn't help. The beds are really comfortable and the rooms are a good size, as are the bathrooms. Although there were no drinking or dining facilities, there was a Table Table bar and restaurant on the same site. This served delicious food (including a breakfast buffet) and the service was excellent. We couldn't fault it.
