Have been to Greyfriars Restaurant a few times now for a meal and the afternoon tea experience. The decor is beautiful and in keeping with the building. Feels a world away from anywhere but is within close proximity to the town centre. The hotel also has its own ample car park which is accessed via an entry gate which adds to the exclusive feel of the experience. The afternoon tea is a perfect way to while away an afternoon and the cakes/scones are to die for.

Our family went to Greyfriars for cocktails and we were blown away by the quality of both the staff and the drinks. Luis was the bar man that evening and having already served us a few times before on previous visits, welcomed us like friends with good humour and excellent service. Our cocktails were of the highest quality and Luis couldn't have done any more to make our evening there any more special.

Their packages are great: stayed for 3 nights in summer and it was fantastic! Everything was extremely clean and beautiful, the food was delicious, and the coffee making facilities in the rooms were fab! For a once in a holiday treat, this place is ideal.

Very lovely evening with amazing food! Service was sporadic as restaurant was fully booked. However, was made to feel special and venue is stunning. Would definitely return if in in the area again.
