A really charming place. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. The court yard in summer was very pleasant. The location is ideal. A very nice stay.

The staff here were very accomodating and went out of their way to allow my husband and I to check into a room early.  Our room was lovely, spacious and comfortable. The hotel overall has a homely feel to it. We didn't eat in the restaurant but we enjoyed a fabulous breakfast. 
Would thoroughly recommend this place.

We have not only stayed here but have also had several meals in the Green Room. Really enjoy this place - food, value, and ambience. Nice variety of Gluten Free choices on the menu.

Super hotel in the centre of Colchester. My parents have stayed here a few times when they come over from Holland. The rooms are all well equipted and the food is fantastic
