The hotel is located in a quiet environment. The standard queen size bed room is very clean and tidy, amenities are well managed but a room size is bit small, talking about WC the basin is very small so during time of wash water scatters out of basin down to floor. Apart from this no any comments.Rooms: 4/5
Nice little hotel! The most important thing - it is very clean, the service and staff are perfect, they lend us charger adapter, changed towels after first day… The location is near Baker street and Regent’s Park in a great neighborhood. Rooms: Rooms are small but enough if you won’t spend your day there. There is a double bed, chairs, mirror, little table and a closet. Bathroom is ok, very clean, but the sink is so small and low, you can not use it. Safety: The neighborhood is ok, quiet and safe. Walkability: The he hotel is near underground station Baker street, 7-8minutes away. Also a lot of pubs and stores are near. The Park is 5 minutes away, Selfridges is on 15minutes by foot and Westminster max 30 minutes by train. Food & drinks: You can get food and drinks in nearby pubs, stores, coffeshops, or even mcdonalds
Small rooms and rude staff but good location. They have another hotel next door but the lift had not been working for a while so I booked this one instead for this stay. Rooms are just as small and the staff are still quite abrupt and unhelpful. Also, they do not speak all the languages they advertise so just make sure you have someone who can do interpretations for you.
The location of this hotel is ideal, such a quiet road and yet so close to everything. The nearest tube station is Baker Street that has 5 different underground lines so you can easily get to most places without needing to change trains. It is a stones throw from Madame Tussaud’s and many other shops and restaurants on Marylebone Road. In the other direction about 2 minutes walk is Marylebone high street teeming with independent shops, cafes, restaurants, galleries and many more. There’s Regent’s Park and London Zoo within 5 minutes walk and Hyde Park about 20 minutes walk. The hotel itself was faultless for the price we paid and we cannot believe it is only 3 stars! Check in and out was seamless, the WIFI was free and good, we had 24h access with a manned reception, our room was exactly as described, had plenty of storage and space and was most importantly very clean. We had French doors onto a communual terraced area and the air con worked spectacularly. The TV was Sky and the room had a mini fridge, kettle and safe. We were able to leave our bags at reception free of charge. I truly cannot recommend this hotel enough! Rooms: The room was as described, spacious and with lots of storage. It was clean and exactly what we wanted. Nearby activities: Madame Tussaud’s, London Zoo, shopping, eateries etc etc Safety: When coming in at night, the reception is manned 24/7 but also you had to use your key card to get into the hotel as well as your room. It felt very safe. Walkability: This hotel is remarkably close to anything your heart desires. It is within 10 minutes walking distance of restaurants, attractions, parks and shops while also being quiet overnight.
Their 2 receptionists were aggressive and made me feel so unsafe. They were so disrespectful and had such an awful tone. The room wasn’t ready when we got there, and we were only there for one night. We finally only got into our room much later and the next morning I requested a one hour late check out since we hadn’t even gotten our room on time. I asked him to check with his colleague from the day before about our room issues and instead of checking he says he doesn’t care and he’s in charge of deciding. It was such a scary experience and I’ve never felt this unsafe with these two men ganged up on me. I didn’t get a simple yes or no. At 6am the man starts getting so aggressive saying you have to ask me nicely. After about 20-30 mins he keeps wanting me to repeat myself and keeps saying you’re not asking me nicely, ask me nicely and kept saying how he controls the decision. His colleague then joins him and they gang up together and his colleague was equally as rude, and starts shouting. These two men ganged up on me as a single girl was the worst experience ever.
Hotel is beautifully run, lovely staff, has air conditioning and an elevator which is not a given, but for us in summer and moving in our child to university was important! Safety: Lovely, amazing charming neighborhood, could walk and walk for miles safely to regents park, Buckingham palace, Sherlock Holmes museum, endless cafes, pubs, restaurants…phenomenal neighborhood Walkability: Short walk to stunning regents park if you walk to one end of it, you can have a lovely view of Buckingham Palace very short, walk to the Sherlock Holmes Museum and high end shops, lovely cafés, galleries.
Prime location , near the Baker Street station. Clean and spacious room. We had a exes to balcony too towels , essentials like soap/ shampoo/shower gel iron with ironing board, hair dryer, enough storage in cupboards and hangers too. Refectory for business purposes. Complimentary tray.Rooms: 5/5
The room was spotless, the staff were so accommodating and generous, and the location is perfect- so close to Baker Street and Regent’s Park stations. A quiet street, the hotel is calm, and the staff are great. Thank you for a wonderful stay.Rooms: 5/5
We had a room for three. The cleanliness of the room was ok, on the last evening the sheet was dirty. The hair dryer was in the bedroom, which makes no sense. The location wasn't bad, fairly close to baker street station, madame tussauds and more. Unfortunately, it was correspondingly noisy at night in the room. The receptionists was really friendly.
Great location and clean room/facilities! We originally got a quite small room but were able to switch to a slightly larger one due to a week-long stay. Note that the rooms are small. Management is friendly and accommodating. Nearby activities: Regent's Park, Marylebone neighborhood is fantastic.
