Stayed here for two nights due to US Embassy visa appointment. Check in was swift and easy and receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. Room was on first floor No 19 and towards the back of building on the side. Room was clean and fresh smelling clean towels provided. Room was very warm but a fan was provided. A blackout roller blind covered the window to help block out light from McDonald's which is next door. If window was open road noise and overhead planes could be heard quite frequently. Room was good for our needs. No breakfast provided but McDonald's is next door and Uncle Tom's Cabin is around 150 metres down the road by railway bridge. Bus stops close by in both directions and very frequent. Just a cautionary note to be mindful of shower tray when wet as was very slippy. Overall good clean accommodation and would stay again.

Stayed here as was visiting London, to go to crystal palace park....very clean room and nice service from the staff too....just what we needed for our stay...convient for buses and the overground train to get anywhere. Our room was on the bottom floor but that wasn't a problem as windows are thick, blind to pull down...A fan was provided in room as we were staying on what seem to be hottest day of the year so far.... No breakfast provided but there is a MacDonald's next door, if u like that kind of breakfast. All in all a good stay here....thanks for having us. Would use again.
Very clean and tidy room with great openable window. Bathroom was new and clean. Highly recommend! Bus out the front and only an 18 minute walk to 2 different train stations. Walk to Battersea Park and the Thames River. Room was serviced everyday including new towels and bed made etc. Bed was king size too! Great value for money.
Room was lovely with no issues, check in was quick with an easy form to fill out. I would like to take time to thank the wonderful staff. I forgot to pack my phone charger, when I was checking out I asked if they had a charger. They were very helpful and charged my phone for me when I went out for breakfast, came back and got my phone. Really really appreciated as I needed my phone while travelling across London on the Saturday.
After reading some reviews we were a little hesitant about if this stay was going to be good. Anyway, nothing wrong with our stay, if anything it ticked all our boxes and would happily stay here again! McDonald’s next door, convenience shop across the road, £20 a night to park car outside the front or £25 through a locked gate. Wandsworth Road Over ground train is a 5 minute walk away. Bed was really comfy, hot rainfall shower & 11am check out! Thank you for a great stay!
Rooms aren’t soundproofed whatsoever so you’ll spend all night listening to trucks, buses etc driving right past your window, plus you’ll hear every word from your neighbours. We requested parking and were told it was £25 per night, but upon arrival were told because we have a van and it would take up two spaces it would be £50 a night. Our van fits into a regular parking space at Tesco/everywhere else - they didn’t even have marked spaces and there was nobody else even parked there so was disappointed they decided to charge us double just because they could. We arrived late at night and left the next morning so felt even more unfair. Noteworthy details: Loud.
Lovely guest house, the reception area was absolutely charming and the staff extremely helpful and attentive, they even offered to hold our bags a bit after check out whilst we had a wonder. The bed was super comfortable and the room spotless clean. Absolutely brilliant value for money considering the central position, extremely easy to get around with access to Overground, several buses and tube, will definitely go back and recommend!! Safety: Was very impressed about the access key system for the front door, very safe!!!
The hotel is nice enough and the staff were friendly enough. The single beds in the single rooms are very small so just beware. But!…… the main thing to watch is on site parking! We were quoted £25 to park our van two days prior to booking only to be told, on arrival, that it was double the price for our van! £50!!!! By that time it was too late to book anywhere else, so just be aware of this! The receptionist response to my astonishment at this charge was “Well that’s London for you…. All about the money!” Idiot! Noteworthy details: Beware parking fees!
The hotel was OK. It was a bit of a walk to a tube but wasn't too bad. The room was small but adequate, however the carpets were filthy, need replacing rather than cleaning. Was warm and stuffy in the room, fan was provided which was good but if you opened the window the noise from workmen at the McDonald's and the flight path was too much.
