I came here for dinner with my family who stayed in the hotel, a few night ago. We were served by Aaliyah who went the extra mile ensuring our glasses were never empty from wine and immediately offered water upon arrival. Very smiley, very attentive! Amazing service.Rooms: 5/5
Me and my group arrived with only 15 mins to spare before the kitchen closed, and we were very lucky to be served. Our server Katrina couldn’t have been more accommodating, her service was fantastic. The food we had was great, we especially liked the pork belly and chicken liver parfait. There was a great atmosphere in the pub in general, and would highly recommend for a late night dinner any time.
Best roast dinner in London, the pub is very dog and baby friendly, the manager Dan was very welcoming and my baby adored him. Our waitress Lisa was AMAZING, she was able to explain everything on the menu and give us great wine options to go with our meal. Our experience would have not be the same without her !!!!!!Can not wait to come again. Team was very accommodating, even though we turned up with more people than we'd booked for. They found us a bigger table and provided excellent service all night. Food was great too.Rooms: 5/5
Outstanding. Clapham Common is a fantastic place to wake up in & everything about the hotel does the location justice. Having a proper coffee machine in the room is one of several examples of attention to detail that I could list. The food, both dinner & breakfast was excellent. The french pastries at breakfast were so good I forewent the FEB! And sourdough toast, great idea. What stands out most though is the dining room service; thoughtful, attentive & never intrusive. Fantastic.
Such a comfy environment and setting at the windmill. Came for dinner with my family, the food was delicious especially the seafood stew. What a treat it was to be served by Jonathan, whose skills and professionalism were impeccable. Hope to be back again, and served by him!Rooms: 5/5
I had an amazing experience here with my friends. Aaliyah, our waitress, kindly served us and went above and beyond. She was very helpful and pleasant. The food was also delicious. The location is perfect and the restaurant is gorgeous! I highly recommend coming here for a fantastic time.Rooms: 5/5
The staff at this hotel/pub were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast in the morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions. Thankyou for Lana especially for helping during check in to my new boutique room made my stay 100x better. I would definitely recommend to friends & family!
Great accommodation and excellent food. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Perfect setting. Easy to park. park outside for the doggy to take a break and then absolutely gorgeous decor inside. Really easy to travel to and it’s right beside Clapham Common so you can have access to the wonderful views of the park. I was recently passing through as I was going on holiday a few days after my visit and decided to have a few drinks with a couple of friends of mine before I left. The atmosphere was lovely and I particularly want to mention my lovely experience with a server from here, I believe her name to be Aaliyah. Aaliyah was so incredibly kind and lovely and made sure that there was no problems and she took time to make sure that I was happy with everything. It really made my day. There’s not a lot of people these days that will go out of their way to make you smile, but Aaliyah did. I can tell that she’s an incredible asset to The Windmill and would definitely visit again if i’m ever passing through just for the outstanding service that she provided for myself and my friends. I had a wonderful evening that night.
