I go every 2-4 weeks to collect my blood test form from rheumatology and then go for a blood test. Rheumatology book me in for my next blood test form collection and I then book my blood test appointment. The blood test computer for checking in is normally always having an issue and the poor phlebotomists are having to come out and call people by name or last 3 digits of phone number if that person has been set up for the blood test appointment system over the phone Where you sit while waiting for your blood test isn’t in line with the screen you need to be watching for your name and what cubicle to go to so people miss it -also as you don’t know you have to look there then there should be a sign or a note when you book your appointment that you need to do that. When the system is working you check yourself in for your blood test on a computer by the entrance to the room by following the instructions of your first and surname initials or you can check yourself in on the system via the website on your phone
St George’s is the epitome of the very best of the NHS. Really kind, helpful, friendly, dedicated staff with the highest levels of knowledge and expertise. Multiculturalism at its very best.
The basic staff aren't nice or welcoming at all. The urgent treatment centre has nonchalant and abrupt staff. Customer services isn't of a decent standard at all. I think croydon is terrible but this was another level of rude. Beyond a joke. All the staff speak with no concern or empathy at all and their dealing with ppl with pain and difficulties. I will NOT BE RETURNING HERE AGAIN. Thanks for that experience. That was enough for me.
NHS staff 5* - Patcient transfer services HATS - Absolutely awful
Every time we have an appointment at St George's hospital we always visit the Peabody café in the medical school wing.
Had the privilege of having to visit the Critical Care Unit in Atkinson Morley Wing, due to a family member having a heart attack. The unit was busy, but the staff was keen to help support me and keep me informed of the process of care and treatment needed. The ward was very clean, and tidy. And very peaceful.
Thers good put it's gona be better if you teak a pechers in said the University
Overall very good care. I have to admit it gets a lot better when they listen to your needs and action them!
Top drawer university hospital. My treatment here was second to none. Caring, polite professional staff who always went an extra ten miles to make sure everything was done properly. A marvellous experience.
Quick & easy. I was seen very quickly and the receptionists seemed really friendly and helpful.
