Overall a beautiful hotel with amazing staff and facilities. The room was gorgeous and spacious. I also like the environmentally conscious policies. Minus 2 stars for the bar staff as they are way below the level of the other staff, rude and overall compromising what is actually an exceptional hotel. I recommend more training on courtesy and the use of room credit instead of insisting on spot payments. I queried their behaviour with the reception who confirmed that was not acceptable. This can ruin an experience for otherwise happy guests.
Hotel staff was top tier! They decorated pur room for my friends birthday. Which made our stay extra special. They went about and beyond to make us feel welcome. Room was very spacious and love the size of the bathroom. Rooms: Large and comfortable Nearby activities: Plenty of food and shopping near by Walkability: Easy public transportation
Spa day at Chelsea Harbour Pros: Light lunch is excellent and good value. Location is nice. Massages & treatments really good. Nice swimming pool. Cons: Not enough pool beds for the number of people of spa day guest perhaps 8 beds for 12 people in the morning, with more people arriving in afternoon. Sauna and steam rooms are separate for male & female which is not ideal for a couple who want to spend the day together. This isn't advertised well in the spa advert. The sauna and steam room are in each respective toilet/shower area, and so it's very very warm when using the facilities! Not pleasant. There is a relaxation room at the top floor where treatments are, but we didn't know about this until 4pm when we had our treatments. Overall, some good aspects but for the price we wouldn't come again.
This was going to be a special time for me and my daughter celebrating my birthday. The room service in the evening did not exist. we tried several times to call them. So we had to go out and eat. The reception lent us a cork screw and told us to bring it back in the morning, but they came up to our room at 2.am in the morning and rang the bell to get it back. The girl who give us room service in the afternoon could not tell us the way to the spa. The Sauna in the Spa on the Sunday was not working and there was no one at reception to give us robes or towels. The changing rooms were a mess with towels everywhere and slippers on the Sunday morning. The night staff on the desk were very unhelpful. The girls on reception in the daytime were very helpful. We felt all the staff on the Saturday night were disinterested with the clientel were very unhelpful. Rooms: The sink in the bathroom did not flow away properly Food & drinks: They stopped serving drinks at 10.15. It was a Saturday night. There was no room service in the evening, and we called several times.
New to this place. We spent about 4 hours here at the SPA on a weekday afternoon with my friend. Their receptionist was super friendly and made us feel at ease and comfortable. The place is pretty clean and well-kept, but there was a bit of mold on the shower dispensers and the hair dryers weren't working. The relaxation area was really cool with its design, giving us a kind of art therapy along with relaxation vibes. Overall, we had a good experience. Thank you.
We booked this 5 star hotel and spa for a long family weekend. We always stay at the Chelsea Stadium Hotel and never have issues. But we decided to book the Chelsea Marina Hotel and Spa because we wanted the children to be able to use the pool that was advertised. So we paid nearly double the normal price that we pay at Chelsea fc. For this apparent five star hotel. Pool closed. Spa closed. Parking is £80 per night. Hotel is a three star at best. This is a disgrace. Spoke with management and they said sorry but a person should have told you at booking about the pool. Even has exposed wires and sodden board missing in rooms. No offer of any choices or other hotel options. Be warned this is a run down hotel with terrible mattresses to boot.
Clean hotel, great bar and breakfast. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Overpowering smell of air freshener in the lobby takes some getting used to when coming out of the elevator, or from the outside. Location is ok, only one pub close by Service wasn't great. Waited at the airport for 90 minutes waiting for a confirmed driver they never showed up and ended up taking an Uber. Don't pay for early checkin, it's a waste and we were refunded.
Very disappointing. The hotel is outdated. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful but was very disappointed we were not offered a room with a view -The price for each night cost up to €400 including parking. As a strong coffee drinker I was shocked at the quality of coffee offered- there was no barista coffee but only a 'press a button machine'. Buffet breakfast was cold and juice served was from concentrate out of a carton taste offered rather than freshly squeezed juice which you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The cost price for this poor quality buffet hot and cold food was up to €40. The fruit was the best part of it. I had to walk to a nearby cafe after breakfast to get proper coffee. Also the cost price for food and drinks at the hotel is very high and it's not worth it for the quality you get. I expect fresh food from a 5 star hotel. Room service food was edible but not that enjoyable The bathrooms are beautifully clean and beds are super comfy with nice bed sheets. This was the best part of the stay for us The spa treatment experience was just awful. First I was appalled by the changing rooms - how dirty, old and open they were for a 5 star hotel. I was so put off that I couldn't bare to use the sauna and steam room let alone the pool. The massage treatment room and experience was very disappointing. The towels on the treatment bed were damp and a grubby feel. The cream used for my massage felt cheap and tacky rather than a good quality cream/oil. The therapist seemed tired and the massage just felt like she was rubbing in cream to my skin - just lazy work from the therapist. It put me off so much that my partner decided the stay wasn't worth it so we decided to check out early. As a frequent traveller to London this was the most disappointing hotel experience especially for a 5 star hotel in such a famous area. We felt the other rooms were offered to immigrants. This hotel has so much potential to be great again but a lot of work needs to be done
First time to stay in the hotel and i had bad experience. they could not solve sample small problem. I made reservations for 3 nights on august 2024 including breakfast and later i modified the reservation to exclude breakfast. at the check in they charged me for breakfast. after i showed them the modification from their email, they told me that they will refund the breakfast cost. over a month and half no refund, no respond to email etc. Bad experience. charged for breakfast without eating breakfast. Why not make it short and return my money that you took from my card for no reason.
Very disappointment. The primary reason for booking the hotel was the availability of a pool, as it was something our daughter was eagerly looking forward to. However, upon our arrival, we were informed that the pool was not in use, a fact that was not adequately highlighted during the booking process. Although I now see a small disclaimer on your website, it’s not prominent enough for guests to notice during the booking process. It would have been considerate and professional for the hotel to inform guests directly via email or another clear communication channel prior to check-in. This lack of transparency left us feeling disappointed and misled, and it had a significant impact on our overall experience. I hope the hotel will take this feedback seriously and ensure clearer communication in the future so that guests are not surprised by unavailable facilities. Furthermore, the air conditioning in the room was load and annoying and much of the hotel was in repair. Very poor indeed.
