Awful inpatient rooms when staying overnight at Nuffield Parkside. All equipment on last legs - old, old beds and lighting, bed sheet not covering the blue plastic mattress. It all needs gutting and modernising - and some additional training for the overnight nurse I had wouldn’t go a miss. Picked the hospital for convenient location and the surgeon but this is like no other private inpatient experience I have had and was far worse than my experience with the NHS.
Impressed with the Specialist and his medical team. Excellent hospital, top notch facilities. We had an extremely professional and efficient service!
Unacceptable delays. What's the point of booking appointments for specific times when the timeliness are unrealistic. Second time here waiting a long time for a delayed appointment with staff telling me the doctor is very thorough so the visits sometimes run longer. Set the correct visit length if that's the case instead of making patients wait.
The staff are lovely, the atmosphere is calming and the cleanliness is up to a high standard. The food is absolutely gorgeous. 10/10 for that! I couldn't have been anymore happier with the operation and the treatment that I received. I genuinely felt like royalty, but let's not forget Mr bellringer, the surgeon who did such a great job and made sure there were no issues.
Just completed six months post-op physio with Jordan Campbell. Feeling fitter, more confident and positive about my knee strength, range and movement. Jordan’s advice and treatment has been first-class even when pushing me!, clear and effective. Big thanks!
The consultant was great and the xray dept. The receptionists and health care assistants were rude, and incompetent. Also there seems to be a lack of professionalism and privacy. Private details and shouted around the hospital like there's no such thing as being discreet. Bit of shambles actually.
The receptionist Lola was so rude! I had to deal with this highly unpleasant person who was saying I’m giving her the wrong home address and being super angry at me! I was shocked and speechless. and this is to book my 300£ doctor appointment. I can’t believe this happens at the private clinic…no one at NHS acts like this anymore. very unprofessional, please train your staff or hire professionals.
Excellent experience. Went in the day ward. Receptionists, nurses, consultants all made the experience the best it could be. Felt very comfortable. Modern rooms too.
The receptionists are kind however every single one of my appointments was late by at least 45 mins to one hour. The only consultant that wasn't late was Mr Panayi. On top of that, when your re saying that you are busy and can't wait around for an hour, the doctors give you attitude. The waiting times are ridiculous considering this is a private hospital - they should really plan their schedules better. This is the last time I am going there.
This place is very nice. Very warm ambience. They provide free coffee and tea. Most of the time you're seen at the time given. Only time I ever waited and it was 20mins. Doctors and Nurses here are very kind. Receptionists just do their job and nothing extra to be called a fabulous and warm welcome. There is one male receptionist though who is the kindest one of them all‍↕. Toilets are maintained and exceptionally clean and the lobby area and all round is hygienic. Update: The last time I was here, I was told to come back in 40mins after my laser. When coming back I was stopped abbruptly by the receptionist asking where I was going. I told her where I was going but her tone of voice made me angry. I ignored it. TODAY 25th July 2024 at approximately 11:43 I left the laser room again and was told come back in 40mins. I told the receptionist the very old one with a blonde bob and she acknowledged what I said. Now!!! The other receptionist wearing green with rust colour hair asked her "What" as I was leaving. I turned around because I heard them giggle so it's obvious the old one gave a remark and I want whoever the manager here is to fix their attitudes because I was so near to making a scene. The next time one of them does this again should I need to come back for a check up and their attitudes are the same, I will raise a big complaint to CQC or to your officials. The receptionists disgust me here... especially the one with red hair...immature thing! From an initial 5 star review, your receptionists made this a 1 star
