Park House Camping

Great location, nice and quiet, facilities were nice and clean, views were nice, surrounded by farm animals. Basic campsite, really fairly priced, host was lovely. One downside was you couldn't have a BBQ or fire, but there were 4 pubs in walking distance to get hot food from so cannot complain. It was really lovely at dusk watching the bats around the trees. Literally at the head of the monal trail. Will definitely stay again.

Very expensive given the facilities. 2 showers and 3 loos 2 of which are closed overnight. Nice pitch but would expect more taps. Showers are pay per minute, which given the price seems grasping. No hot water for washing-up.

Just camped for the night. Basic, it wasn't fully open being winter. The toilet was clean and friendly owners. The grass is sloping gently for tents but not too bad. Nearby activities: Monsal Head a couple of minutes walking away. Lots of good walking from the campsite.

Lovely little campsite with outstanding views! Paid £10 per person for the night and utilities were clean. I also liked the fact that there wasn’t a set arrival or departure times, you can turn up and leave whenever it’s convenient for you - as long as you’re reasonable of course! Location was great, lots of walks around. Will definitely come back!

Excellent site a little tight if you have a large motorhome . Good location for monsail trail

Great small campsite for tents camper vans and small motorhomes. very close to Monsal trail so excellent for walking and cycling. facilities are clean and adequate. the ground is sloping so people in vehicles will require levelling ramps. close to road but very little traffic so noise not an issue.

Really nice clean campsite close by to monsal head and beautiful surrounding views the only drawback was there is no hot water available to wash in and you need to pay extra for the showers and the campsite is right next to a road.

Nice simple campsite with toilet facilities. Plenty of space to pitch - most slightly sloping! Perfect location for walking/cycling Monsal Trial.

Lovely campsite, with nice views and very peaceful. The field wasn't overbooked and the facilities provided were kept immaculately clean. The owners were welcoming and very helpful. A stones throw from Monsel head and the pub. We would definitely come back! Thank you Peter and Maureen.
