Beech Croft is a small, family-run caravan park and camping site located between Buxton and Bakewell in Derbyshire.

Story

There are several walks from the park: It is located on the Pennine Bridleway, with the Monsal Trail and the Limestone Way both close by.

The park has an enironmentaly friendly heated toilet & shower block with laundry facilities.

Hard standings have 16amp hook up with water tap & TV aerial socket. In the camping area there are prepayment card 16amp electric hook-ups for anyone that wants to use them.

Excellent site, excellent and spotlessly clean toilet and shower facilities. Dog friendly with a large dog run. Owners John and Julie very friendly and obliging.

This is one of the best campsites we have stayed at in our 9 years of motorhoming. John , Julie and their daughter run the site. They could not have been more welcoming and helpful. lovely scenery lovely pitches and Great facilities. underfloor heating in the shower house. We stayed during the snow storms. We couldnt get out to do any shopping. But John went and got our shopping for us. Our battery went flat in the cold and again John came to our rescue and gave us a jump start so we could get home. We will go back in the sunny weather.

Really nice site with immaculate and modern toilet and showering facilities. Lovely and quiet at night time, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Easy access to a multitude of walks.

Our first trip in the camper was made amazing by the facilities at this site, everything you need and more, very clean very friendly and when it looked like we would have to stay for another night due to the snow they brought out the tractor and cleared a path!! Five stars isn't enough for this place
