Site well located. Toilets block pretty good but no toilet brush which enables previous users to leave artistic images! Soap in toilets dries hands. Outside wash up area only one plug and hot water very high pressure = excessive splashing as it’s a much button tap. A lever would be better.nnThe pitches - site was not full yet put on a pitch that whilst hard standing had lots of mud which was excessive. The one next to it was empty and would have been much better. In fact most better. Yes I could have asked. Tow offs at £20 considering the mud and snow that was anticipated is a cheek. Saw one which was a lake. Terms and conditions benefit the site.nnMany EHU point have lights but not working.nnOverall stuck is as expensive and not as well maintained as it could be.
Really lovely campsite! Staff were very welcoming and friendly, site had everything you need, toilets and shower blocks were extremely clean, pot washing area also clean. We stayed Sunday - Tuesday and campers were respectful and no noise after 10pm, lovely walk straight into Bakewell from the site too, will definitely be returning here
The Campsite was in a great location ideally situated for accessing Bakewell, Ashford, Chatsworth etc during our visit one amenities block was closed and so was the pub. The other amenities were not very user friendly in the showers. The disabled facilities were hazardous with a raised up shower tray, nowhere for bottles, water that sprayed the floor making it slippery and no seat not even a toilet lid. Other than this the site was well presented, nice views and enjoyed our stay.
Great holiday park near to Bakewell. Well spaced pitches for motorhomes & caravans. Facilities blocks are modern & clean, Friendly staff. Stables bar is great, food vans visit at weekends. Easy walks to Bakewell & Ashford on the water.
Stayed in our motorhome at this fantastic venue & location. Nestled in the valley of the Peak District, Greenhills is a real gem with genuinely nice owners and their son. It offers a bar, an essentials shop, and chuck wagons on Fridays and Saturdays if you fancy a night off from cooking. Grounds were well looked after, clean toilets, etc, all comfortably informal. Thank you, Greenhills, we will return.
