Lathkill Dale Campsite

I visited this campsite at the end of the summer, we had a lovely flat pitch where my children had plenty of space to run around without disturbing other campers. The toilets were lovely and clean. The owners were friendly and attentive and we got really lucky with the weather. Will definitely be back as it is an excellent location and the kids and my family loved it.

Our first visit to the Peak District, we made the right choice with our camping location! We booked only a couple of days in advance, and was allocated a nice pitch at the top of the park. Plenty of room for van and gazebo! And not too close to neighbours. facilities more than adequate, and clean! Nice warm shower and not too far to walk from pitch. Only a 5 min walk to nearest village. The site is ideally located for exploring the surrounding areas. A beautiful place, we will be coming back! 😊

Peaceful,lovely Staff, lovely village Pub with great Food,what more can I say, would love to stay forever.

Friendly staff and good facilities. Only a five minute walk to the pub/village. Unfortunately our camping pitch wasn't nice - a bit dark and dingy, no views and on a bit of a slope. We did book last minute on a busy August weekend though, so I guess it was the last spot they had left. We also had quite a bad night's sleep because of local farm work happening until the early hours (that can't be helped I know) and neighbouring families making noise until around midnight despite the 10pm quiet curfew.

Nice site ... but owners don't seem to like anyone enjoying themselves... particularly families.
