Chatsworth Park Caravan and Motorhome Club Site

Very quiet site toilet facilities second to none. visited February 26 to march 4 weather was ( the beast from the east) at the time .Very cold but nice and warm in the motorhome , garden centre is must for a visit great coffee and the cake counter makes your mouth water. There is also a sandwich bar with stupendous looking treats.

This is a beautifully situated Caravan Club site in an old walled garden on the Chatsworth estate. The house is a pleasant 10 minute walk away. Facilities are always clean and the site well tended. Staff can be hit and miss. Last time we were there they were friendly. On previous visits this has not been the case. Our last visit coincided with some very cold and snowy weather. The estate did not grit the 1/2 mile long access road. Unsurprisingly they did manage to grit the road to the farm shop. I guess we know where their priorities lie.

Went walking in Chatsworth Park last month. Great venue for a walk and finished up at the garden centre (for a coffee) which had a really nice restaurant inside. Was very disappointed that I couldn't buy a cheese scone to go with my coffee even though they had them!

One of the best club sites we have visited. Easy walking access into chatsworth estate through gate. You have to book well in advance though.

This campsite is in a great position inside the Chatsworth Park. We are not interested in the stately home but you can go there if you wish as it is nearby. There are plenty of footpaths from the site, either easy walks or more difficult. The village nearby has pubs and cafes. The site facilities are to the standard you would expect from a club site.
