We had a lovely time. The welcome was a little stiff, I felt like a naughty schoolboy rather than a welcome, appreciated paying customer but I guess that's just her way. It was a lovely clean basic site in a nice area. Good access to all the lovely places in the peaks. Having paid for an electric pitch, we then had to go without hot water as you have to pay extra for any usage over £1, which seems wrong when you have paid extra for electricity. My friends went without hot water and still woke up each morning and the fridge had gone off. I timed the shower and it lasted 7 seconds, that wasn't great. Have to keep pressing a button. My wife said hers lasted 3 seconds. Having had my little moan I would go there again, nowhere is faultless and we had a pleasant stay.

Lovely views including fantastic fields and sheeps / small fishing pond. Friendly and welcoming owners. All Pitches were numbered and the camp field was very well looked after, tidy and quite. Toilets and showers were clean. The only downside is being slightly noisy for my personal liking due to planes and motorway. But nice place overall.

Shallow Grange was a very modern campsite with well cut grass, new and clean facilities and decent camping fees.

Excellent location to go camping! Owners were lovely and very helpful, fields were also well maintained as were the facilities. Overall a great campsite.

Had a great time at Shallow Grange Farm. shower block was clean and tidy, warm showers. Great for a lovely long walks. Staff at the fram were very helpful and friendly. Nice and quite site, very peaceful. Would stay here again. Would recommend for walkers and someone going for a quite brake. 10 minutes from Buxton town centre as well.
