We stayed here last season, the facilities are very basic and need of renovation and a clean. The pitches are average within the camping field however the views are fantastic. There’s a pub a short walk away.
My calming place of peace and tranquility.nSue and her husband are the perfect hosts. Accomodating, welcoming and friendly.nThey work hard to keep their campsite immaculate, whilst maintaining its natural beauty.nThere are 2 fields, one with some EHU which we use for our little Motorhome.nFacilities include toilet and shower blocks with hot water and pot washing areas, which all are kept very clean.nThere is also a laundry room.nThe location is superb. Quiet, off the main road, and looking out to Winn Hill.nThere is a pub on the main road, and it's approximately 20 minutes walk to the Village.nIt's my wonderful haven of happiness.
Been coming here for 5 years. It's not the ritz but it's great value for money and the showers are hot. Great base for anyone wanting to explore the peak district. Priced accordingly and owners are happy to help...... Keep it up guys
Great budget friendly campsite with excellent hot showers , clean toilets and even a laundry room , level grounds and friendly and available owners. Near the railway and busy roads but quiet at night , beautiful scenery. Felt very safe for a solo camping woman like myself. Train station nearby .
Had a brief stop here dropping a group off to do their Duke of Edinburgh silver expedition. The campsite was clean and tidy. The toilet block I used was dated but serviceable.
