This campsite offers all the facilities one might expect. The excellent showers were clean, and provided reliable hot water, making the camping experience so much more pleasant! It's signposted on the main road, so very easy to find. There's some noise from the railway and from passing traffic, but nothing to spoil a stay here.
We stayed for one night in our campervan and thoroughly enjoyed it. The chap who answered the farmhouse door was very friendly, even though I probably interrupted the family dinner, and he directed us to pitch up wherever we liked. The facilities all seemed well presented and tidy and the surrounding views are fantastic. There is a railway running past the top of the site but I reckon the trains must be electric because they were very inobtrusive. We'll definitely be back in the future. Oh and the price, £18 a night, is very reasonable too.
Just had 3 nights 4 'days at this site. Its location is ideal for visiting various attractions in the Derbyshire Dales. The facilities are more than adequate and the owners are happy to help. We will certainly go back again.
Basic facilities but always clean and very tidy. Easy access and friendly staff. Loved our weekend here. Definitely visiting again and again..
Been 5 times this year all ready it's our favourite campsite in Derbyshire. Surrounded by great walks straight off site pub 5mins away with great food ...15mins walk into hope valley village it's self with everything you want
Great place to stay with the motorhome or camp. Good clean facilities and owners are lovely. Great base to got walking and explore the hills and easy walk to Castleton
This is a beautiful smallish and quiet campsite. There's about 20 campers in our field, a few more in the next field. The owners are very laid back and casual, meaning you don't feel like you're under some strict regime full of rules and regulations. You're left pretty much to yourself, but someone is readily available if you need them. There are good facilities : separate ladies and gents toilet blocks, also separate ladies and gents shower blocks. There is also a disabled toilet/shower. There are plenty of recycling bins available plus a waste disposal for those with portable toilets. There is a restaurant but we've not had the privilege of using it due to being closed through the pandemic. The situation of the campsite is great with trees and hills surrounding it. A short walk up the road gets you to the main road where there are bus stops at both sides of the road. There is a railway that runs past the site but its tolerable - not too noisy. The small town of Hope is about a 5 min bus ride or 15- 20 min walk away. Overall a lovely location We returned back here as One of our favourite go-to's for camping. Nice friendly owners. We've gone several times, they have a nice relaxed atmosphere with no strict rules. Hardhurst farm will definitely be a regular camping visit. They have good clean facilities: electric hookups, hard standing and grass, a separate field also for tents,  toilets, showers, dish washing, rubbish disposal and portable toilet waste. All at a very reasonable price.
I have recently come with All Saints Catholic High School to do the Duke Of Edinburgh award and the campsite was very clean and tidy. The toilets where clean as well as tidy. the grass filed was really spacious so everyone could move around and play sports or do something fitness. Would Recommend.Rooms: 5/5
It is a fairly relaxed campsite catering for backpackers to motor homes. It's relatively inexpensive and well situated for Hope village shops and within range of most of the tourist attractions of the Hope Valley. The scenery around the site is good and services are ok - the toilet block and washing up area is a bit basic but the shower facilities are still more welcoming. I f you like basic but necessary amenities at a fair price and you are not looking to go glamping I would definitely recommend it. Price now £9 per person per night for tent camping w/o electricity. Very dog friendly
Just recently camped here with family. Lovely place, great people, great facilities. Definitely want to return
