I love the Ottolenghi brand but this was my first time at the Hampstead Ottolenghi. It didnt disappoint. Everything we ordered was superb! The staff was kind too but service was slow.. we had the vanilla clafoutis with fruits and custard, the carrot cake, the kale salad, hummus, the pita and tazaziki, and the chicken skewers.
Colourful, fresh and surprising flavours! Each dish tastes better than the previous one, it's really difficult to choose a favourite. The team is very inviting and warm, I recommend!
An amazing experience from start to finish, with the staff taking great care to walk us through everything from the menu to how the dishes are made and recommendations. Presentation was on point as was the taste. The mushroom skewers in particular was a favourite. Even the hot chocolate was proper, with real chocolate and cream. The prices are surprisingly good as well.
I was very excited to come which is why I was so disappointed. All of the food was cold, none of it tasty. Same with the pastries we ordered, they even tasted old. I think it was a bad day so I would still recommend going even if it’s just to see the pastries.
