North Lees Campsite

A great one day getaway. The hills, landscapes and greens makes us feel soothed and rejuvenated. Feels really relaxed and amazed to be trekking the site. Definitely a good spot to go if you want to spend more time in nature. Also a good and healthy way to spend time with family and friends.

This pleasant farm site in beautiful surroundings is run by very helpful Peak District Park staff, who also kindly let me experience one of their pods for a night with my dog when temperatures fell well below zero during a period of very wet weather in November. The site prices are very reasonable, and pods are great for families, especially in winter, so I will be happy to go back there anytime.

Lovely site, centrally located in a beautiful area. Tricky to find a level pitch and the shower queue can get a bit much but this just adds to its charm. Updated: there's now a communal shower in addition to the single male shower. No queues this year! Water often cold instead! Still loved it :)

Beautiful location, good view. Friendly staff and the camping pods look like a great option if you fancy an easy stay.
