I bought my Astra J 2014 from Moortop  in Nov 2017 after searching other dealers and private sellers, this car was the best for mileage, condition and price. The original owner had lost the spare key but Moortop supplied a replacement.  Shortly after collection, my front suspension developed a knocking noise, my son who works in the car industry examined the car and said that component had been replaced, most likely as a result of impact with a pothole. This work had not been done by Moortop, but they did take immediate action to repair the fault.  It is obvious to me why this company has such a high score rating.  Buy your car from Moortop motors with confidence. (I do not work for or have any connection with this company other than my purchase).

Cars are well maintained, reasonable prices and the gaffa was really nice, no pressure to buy anything no lingering. Would buy from again.

Can highly recommend this garage. We part-exchanged both our cars and bought two new ones here. We were very happy with the prices given for our cars and the entire process was extremely smooth and efficient (which we were grateful for, having two small children with us!). Also received first class after sales service which went above and beyond what was expected. Thank you!

Dated entry, today I have spoken with trading standards and filed an official complaint , to which they agreed this was totally avoidable and after seeing factual proof partly illegal at the best. Further action will be taken, there website states they have no trading standards report complaints , unfortunately they can no longer state this .
If I choose to proceed to the next step I will be opening a full investigation with TS , I have been offered a free service from mooretop motors after another garage factual proved the service they say had taken part was partly false. 
An further cost of over 200 pounds was paid by me to get these works completely, I have been asked to have mediation between myself and mooretop to see if they are able to sort this out, before the case is investigated further,to date this is and has not been 

After going through a third party finance company I rang mooretop informing them I may be choosing them as a potential place to buy a vehicle from, I asked for any possible deal, this wasn't something they could do ;
Eventually I did buy a car from them, after receiving the car( with no parcel shelf) which I have now excepted I will purchase myself, I noticed the book had not been stamped to say I had received a service. Which was promised via email before hand, 
I was weary of the car had had a service due to the car having no fluid in the windscreen wipers, which is a basic check on any service. So I checked the book to see no stamp. 

This is my factual honest opinion, not a bad company in the least but not even in the top 20 with past experiences with buying a car. 

In regards to the service situation which is in fact a serious query brought to light by something so simple and unavoidable like screen wash, and the fact I am minus a parcel shelf ( which I did say I could potentially go pick up if I found the time) this is also unprofessional in my opinion, I'll be seeking advice from local T.S, 

The star rating is 2.5 out of 5, neither here nor there.

Excellent service really speedy and managed to get the car ready for pickup before I expected. Will definitely buy a car from them again
