You will not find better in Wirral. Mark and Jan are the perfect hosts, rooms are exceptionally clean and very warm. Their breakfasts are beautiful. Missing The Manor Lodge already. Would not hesitate to book again.Rooms: 5/5
What a fabulous place ! Warm welcome and a brilliantly fitted out room. Everything thought of. Amazing breakfast cooked by Mark. Couldn’t fault it. Would highly recommend and will definitely be staying again. What a find !Rooms: 5/5
Our Host Mark was so accommodating, Our visit was essential, he opened up his Beautiful Lodge. This was very clean,warm and welcoming. Unfortunately due to C19 we weren't allowed his famous Breakfast,however they put A Continental breakfast tray ready for this morning. We would definitely recommend Manor Garden Lodge and hopefully will visit again under better circumstances.
Welcoming and friendly, Mark was perfect host and cooked an amazing full English the bacon was quality and black pudding was delicious We stayed 1 night and bed was comfy the shower was hot the lodge was warm and cosy with good insulation The birds in the morning were delightful to see and hear
GOOD Mark was a friendly, excellent host. We had good conversations, and you can tell that he loves hosting people with his wife. The room was beautifully appointed and generally clean, it had a high ceiling. The room was cosy when heated up. It was great to have tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was tasty and the bed was large. Towels were very soft. BAD WiFi didn't work due to the distance between the room and the main house. Latest breakfast was at 09:30 and check-out were at 10:30 which was a bit early for us. Cobwebs present within the room. The bed was too hard for me, and you could feel the zip through the sheets. On arrival the heating wasn't turned on. On turning it on, the thermostat registered 7 degrees. The floors were freezing and the underfloor heating didn't work. It took a long time for the room to heat up to 21 degrees. TV Remote was pretty dodgy.

The location is beautiful.The hosts are very welcoming and kind.My trip was cut short and I had to return home.But would recommend this to anyone.
Everything you'd expect from a four star hotel, only with warm, friendly, genuine hospitality! Great breakfast too.
