Impromptu pop into the pub this evening after a fabulous beach walk. So welcoming, we absolutely loved the ‘dog station’ with treats, blankets, water etc for our gorgeous puppy.  We ordered drinks and were warmly welcomed to visit the complimentary cheese board which was fabulous!!! Martha, the lovely owner, helped us load cheese onto our plates along with crackers, salami and fresh fruit. We love this pub and visit each time we have walked along the beach. The staff are so lovely and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Only problem… we didn’t want to leave. Thanks Martha and team, see you very soon xxx

Myself and my friend recently took a visit to the green lodge for a meal, we where welcomed by very friendly and warm staff who accommodated to all our needs, not to mention the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The Green Lodge is located a very short walk from the beach, perfect for walking off all that food  I would highly recommend the green lodge if your thinking of where to go for your next meal out and about!

We went for lunch on Friday and were greeted by very friendly staff.nI ordered the smash burger and inhaled it when it arrived, it was juicy and delicious.nThe cocktails were great too. We will be back! A+

As I am suffering from spinal cancer, I requested a table with no steps to get to it, a comfy seat and a cushion to put behind me. They did all that. I asked if I could choose from the children’s menu as I only have a small appetite and cannot swallow some things. They were happy to let me do that and even gave me a plain ice cream which is not on the menu!nA member of staff kindly showed me where the disabled toilet was when I requested its whereabouts.nThe staff were all very cheerful and extra helpful. We were asked had we enjoyed our meal - which we had .nWe thought the meals for the 3 of us were delicious and god value..
