Booked my father in laws funeral wake staff very helpful and friendly. Met the owner who was very welcoming and funny.

Had our wedding reception and evening at the Peel Hey. Great time had by everyone. The staff were brilliant. We had a great day and evening. Rooms were very good and clean. Recommend this venue.

Not a bad place to stay, but it has something of an identity crisis. Billed as a "county hotel" the interior decor tends more to modern urban and so lacks the expected ambiance. The room had a poorly repaired hole in the wall and some amateur attempt at rerouting the TV aerial; some of the furniture was poor quality and damaged. Not sure when a vacuum cleaner was last used. That said, staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was good quality with reasonable choice. Plenty of off road parking.

Came here to celebrate a 70th birthday. Food was good. Staff were friendly and obliging. Nice setting and surroundings.
