Place itself is really nice.  Staff very nice and gave us a little tour.  Huge wine selection.
The food itself is a bit dated and needs a bit more imagination, especially for non meat eaters.  Risotto quite bland. Overall experience nice enough but no plans to return.

Had afternoon tea very nice Staff really pleasant and friendly. Sandwiches cakes and scones all really excellent. You could also ask for more sandwiches and cakes. Two glasses of champagne would not gone amiss for the price.

Fine dining at its best. Cellar restaurant is first class a beautiful setting with superb food and service. When we want something special to celebrate an occasion this is the only place to go on the Wirral.

Fantastic hotel in a gorgeous setting. The rooms are extremely nice in this very old building. Two delicious restaurants on site for guests or non guests. They have space for a marquee for wedding etc with the option to be picked up in their Rolls Royce for your special day!
