A beautiful place to stay, an interesting and historical building with stunning views across the Dee estuary ,it was quiet and peaceful which all made for a lovely relaxing stay, Our hosts James and Llinos were friendly and welcoming. Llinos cooked up both a delicious breakfast and an evening meal. Our room was spacious with beautiful views again and the bathroom was enormous. It is my pleasure to give my hosts and their home a fantastic recommendation, our stay there was superb. The place is a hidden gem and the family inside are diamonds in their own right.

I know this location very well as my grand-mother used to live in Stockyn Lodge (no longer there!).

Llinos and James gave a fantastic welcome to my Mother and I and made us both very welcome. The room we were given for out stay was fantastic and very comfortable with a nice high, very comfortable bed and, I am reliably informed that the sofa pull out was just as comfortable as the bed. The bathroom was not en-suite but was a private bathroom with a claw bathtub to die for with a separate shower, both were sampled during our stay. The bathtub could easily accommodate someone of 6' without a struggle. The food served was fresh and of very high quality. It was excellently prepared and healthy, a lovely way to start the day. We would recommend this establishment to anyone who likes fresh air and fantastic views, the photographs available do not do justice to the views or the house, they are both amazing. We had the best stay we have ever had at a bed and breakfast, and the view was fantastic out of our bedroom window!!
