My mum used to work around here in the 90s and loves it so much I thought I'd go check out the place and the conservatory. It's a massively confusing concert jungle which is somehow ugly and quite beautiful with all the little pools and flowers. Getting around it is like a maze. Went at 12 for everything to be closed which was very disappointing for it being so early. The inside was dark and honestly looked very tired. Went to see the I'm not okay exhibition, which was cute but was still in the making and not really what I was expecting.nI think it really needs a re-vamp as it looks and smells old.nThe conservatory was closed and the ticket sold out ridiculously fast. Feel like it's a bit odd when it's free. You get more guests.nOutside was very pretty with the pools but felt feeling underwhelmed tbh
A station that has a lot of history and secrets to it. A lovely station in London that has a secret Elizabeth line lift at the end of the eastbound platform. It has abandoned Thameslink platforms and the station has plenty of services! It is not step free unless you come up from the Elizabeth line lift or down from the Lizzy line entrance. There are no toilets either.nnThere are barriers at this station and the entrance and exit take you to the conservatory.
For the Barbican Centre, use Moorgate station! This station is very close to Farringdon and Moorgate, two big interchdnge stations, making it not very useful. I ride this line every single day and there are very few passengers using this station. It is not very accessible.nI don't know why the station always seems to be the most frequently closed on the whole of the Underground due to staff shortages.
Not much crowded even during peak hours. This station is on the Met line. It falls just after Farringdon. You can take a fast train too to reach Barbican.nYou can get MET line and Hammersmith and city line trains from here.nPics attached for reference purposes only.
This station is served by the Circle Hammersmith & City & Metropolitan lines. There is no disabled access only stairs the station needs a good lick of paint & a refurbishment its old and smelly.
