The hotel has a very convenient location. The rooms are quite large, with all the necessary accessories for a normal stay, cleaned daily. The staff is very friendly, they allow you to leave your personal belongings in storage. A deposit of 50 pounds is given at check in, as a security fee if guests destroy anything in their room. Of course, if all is well, the amount is refunded as quickly as possible. I definitely recommend this hotel!
Had a nice time. Spent only minimum amount of time at the hotel though. Everything was okay except the water pressure in the bathroom. We were situated on the 4th floor and the water pressure was very low, to the point of water completely stopping sometimes. Had a difficult time showering but everything else was great: tidy rooms, new towels every day, breakfast was okay and kind staff. They lent us a plug adapter which was most helpful. Rooms: Neat, tidy Nearby activities: Hyde park Safety: Felt pretty safe walking around. Walkability: Hyde park nearby, close to bus and tube stops. Close to small shops, cafes and restaurants. Food & drinks: Coffee and tea for breakfast alongside orange and apple juice. Breakfast was okay boiled eggs, ham, cheese, cucumber, tomato, olives, toast, croissants, butter, jams, nutella, some fruit, cereal...
Great location! From the hotel you can either walk or take the underground located nearby to get wherever you want and explore the amazing city of London. Come back at the end of the day to this quiet neighborhood to unwind and rest. The hotel offers the convenient option of having breakfast on site if this might suit your needs. Our room was on the smaller side but clean and comfortable and all the essentials were provided. The staff is amicable and the service excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great and affordable stay in London.
I will start with the positive: good location, nice area and clean hotel but for almost 200 GBP per night I expect more. Super tiny room they are the size of my bathroom back home, when you are sitting on the toilet you can brush your teeth in the same time. No elevator so if you have a big luggage don't expect the staff to help you carry it because they won't. They don't provide you with bottles of water in the room. The breakfast room is so depressing and the food is just supermarket food. Don't book with breakfast it is not worth it. I don't recommend this hotel at all for the same price you can have much better.
The hotel is in a good location. The staff at the desk are very nice and willing to accommodate arrivals outside of check in time which was a huge bonus. The room was in the basement and was clean but small. The bathroom was nice, but the shower was raised making getting out of the shower possibly difficult/dangerous. It is definitely a European 3 star hotel versus American 3 star. If I were coming with other people, I would need a larger room but for the price it was good enough for a solo traveler.
The Hotel was conveniently located. The staff were very helpful during our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Everything worked! While there was no lift, the stairs were manageable. Well worth a stay. We intend to return and recommend you stay.Rooms: 4/5
Great place to stay! I read other reviews and was skeptical about the hotel but I'm so happy we booked here. Sundeep welcomed us and was very helpful. We were able to store our luggage while we visited Hyde Park and other sites. The housekeeping crew is amazeballs!! They kept our room super tidy and we'll stocked!! There's no A/C but the 2 fans were adequate. Note: there was a freak heatwave for 3 days and the room was fine. The room was large considering how small most European rooms are. We had a large queen and a twin bed and there was enough room for us to move around in and out of bed. A mini fridge would really help to keep drinks n such cold. 5-8 mins from Bayside or Paddington underground. Close to Hyde Park, don't miss the V&A museum it's free to attend and within walking distance. Rooms: Very clean. Recently updated. Snug fit but reasonably roomy. Nice clean washroom. Shower is avg size for Europe. Nearby activities: Food and shopping for groceries is 5 mins away. Safety: Very quiet street. You can walk around safely. Walkability: It's London. You. Walk. EVERYWHERE. We walked 10-13 miles daily. We used the tube and busses everywhere we could and still put in 20+ km daily!
Hotel is located in a beautiful and quiet area of London, Paddington Train Station is approximately 15 minutes' walk away. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful, however we were very disappointed with the hotel room located in the basement, the room was dark and cold, there was a wall behind the windows, no direct light. You will not find this room in the gallery on the hotel website, so we were unpleasantly surprised when we entered the room. For these reasons we would not recommend the hotel to anyone we know.
Room was tiny, bathroom was small, good location, bed was comfortable, stairs was a challenge with suitcases. nothing said about no lift and steep stairs. Travelling with suitcases , wow, that was a workout
The stay was quite pleasant overall. The reception staff were ok but not too friendly. The best part about this hotel is its location. It is a few minutes walk from Paddington and Bayswater tube stations and is therefore very accessible ! If you need to stay for a couple of nights in a quiet neighborhood in central London at a price that's reasonable.
