When i asked reception for a ground floor room due to my wife having an injured knee. They were most accommodating.the reception staff were the most friendly i have ever met. And the room was perfect for our needs. 10 out 10 and 5 starsRooms: 5/5
The staff is really welcoming and nice. Rooms are basic, decent size and everything is clean. When youre in the room you can hear other doors open and close, which was quite disturbing at night.
Reasonably priced and very welcoming hotel with super friendly receptionist who went out of her way to give us info. We couldn't make the bath plug work so abandoned the bath project in favour of a shower....And the morning after, the breakfast person did not make it to work train strike so breakfast was delayed by an hour - but it was excellent when it came!
A hotel if you have just an overnight stay to take care of. Rooms and washroomStandard Budget are very cramped, showers are extremely low flow. Heating is good and location is silent.Rooms: 2/5
if you need to sleep at night, this hotel is not for you! Terrible experience, the noises of the continuous rooms are heard literally even the conversations but the worst thing is the slamming of doors throughout the night. I spent three nights in this “hotel” and my room was never cleaned. A bad experience I will not come to this place again, too noisy!
Where do I start. No air conditioning. The bed is painfully lumpy and rolls anytime you touch it, the extra pillow has no case and maybe vomit on it. The toilet only flushes with the full flush and you have to be pushing on it hard to get it to work. The shower head is at the very top of a tiny shower so you are under water with no escape. The hottest water is mildly warm, the shower door doesn't close so water goes all over the floor and the baseboard around the shower is coming apart. The shower is so small that I bumped my elbow on the door handle at least 6 times trying to clean up. Not an adult sized shower,, maybe not a human sized shower. The staff is not as welcoming as I am used to especially considering the price. Thoroughly disappointed will not be back.
Nice, clean hotel located in a quiet area 5 minutes from the bus station, tube and Hyde Park. The bathroom is clean, the breakfast is tasty, and the front desk staff is nice, ready to help you especially Georgiana. It's a hotel I'd go back to. As for the minuses, the rooms are a bit small, but this is a general thing in London and the fact that breakfast is not varied, are the same products every day.
What an absolutely terrible experience. If I could have selected zero stars I would have. Shower water cold and the smallest I have ever encountered, room are hot with no ventilation, beds roll around, kettles in room covered in scales. Oh yeah and don't drive here, no where to park as resident parking permits required. Not even 2 or 3 for guests. Disappoint is an understatement
Good position but the room was really small and I could barely walk in-between the bed and wall. TV didn't work. Breakfast extremely poor.Rooms: 2/5
The hotel is very well located, we reached Oxford Street and Piccadilly easily wit bus 94 whose station is less than 5 min walk frok the hotel. Breakfast is really good with plenty of options. Staff at reception is really friendly. We had an issue with the booking of the taxi and the guy helped us to find a solution. He was really really helpful. Should we come back to London we will definitely coke back to Caring Hotel. Virna
