Worst Experience Ever. The toilet was very nasty. They haven't cleaned the sink in the bathroom if you could call it a bathroom. The beds were broken. The iron wires under the bed was broken. The windows were broken. The breakfast was cornflakes with white colored water. The bread they served was nasty. The only good thing about the hotel, was the beautiful girls who worked there in the reception. I could bang them at any time. But what i know, I'm just a Unicorn
Well I was terrified when I read all there negative reviews. I spent two night there and everything turned out to be much better than I expected. I stayed in a 20 people mixed room, the bathroom was kept very clean and even better than my previous accommodationwhich cost me 628 pounds per month. The room was spacious enough to accommodate 20 people. The bed and pillow are used, a little bit worn out, but didn't bother me too much. Staff were okay, well-located, didn't try the breakfast so I don't comment on it. But generally speaking if you'd like to save some budget this could be a good place for short stay.
Room was clean but very minimal, low rating mostly due to the 40+ year old man in the room that was dealing drugs and made me young female rather uncomfortable to be around. Beds were not comfy but for the price i guess you cant expect better
0 0ut of 10 Only worth to visit if you willing to have the most unpleasant experience EVER!!! My journey started with the young lady in the reception hanging up on me while I was yet speaking... and it didn't get better, staff are tired of life and they're terribly route and with very little manners I'am being far too kind ... As they seemed to be doing me a huge favour I feel that now is time to give something back probably a tip for the ones up to book a bed on this place AVOID IT !!!
Terrible but it's also cheap. Shower is either scotching hot or freezing cold. High traffic noise. Homeless people stay here. Breakfast? Don't bother with it. As mentioned it is very cheap so these things can be expected. If you need to save the money you can survive a night here.
My bag was stolen from the internet cafe at this backpackers. I had the bag under my feet and the two men managed to take it from right underneath me. My passport/ visa, all of my ID including drivers license was in my bag along with my ipad and a few personal possessions. When i noticed my bag had been stolen i asked the staff for help and they were very rude and unhelpful. I explained that it had been stolen and noticed they had video cameras. Still the man and girl behind the desk said there was nothing they could do. After filing a police report the next day the police informed me that i had every right to get a copy of the video footage from the hostel. If you value your things i wouldnt stay at this hostel or cafe
It's quite a quite bad place to stay, ugly and dirty rooms, non-working windows. In summer the hostel is hot as hell, stay there only if you need a place where to sleep at night.
Worst hostel I have ever been into, I stayed two weeks in the 8 beds shared room, on my first day I have been stolen a pair of shoes a luxurious pair of dirty old converse, probabably the best thing they found, the second day the lift broke and it was never repaired amazing experience when you have to bring your luggage upstairs, the room was cleaned only in the centre so under the beds was totally dirty and full of dust everywhere, the bath was I don't know how many years old, the toilet was really hard to flush and of course it broke down on the second day, then it was the turn of the sink, they must have a plumber working full time only for them!!!!! But let's talk about the free "CONTINENTAL" breakfast, c'mon I travelled all over the world and I never had a "continetal breakfas" composed of slices of cheap bread, a huge pot of margarine butter must be too expensive, some fuscia jam in a bottle yes, a bottle, flavourless cornflakes, some milk and some awful cocoa powder I don't even mention the tea because it would be illegal in England to define as "tea" that thing...and whan about the staff? Most of them really unpolite, they wanted to make me pay for some plastic cutlery because they finished the normal ones of course I refused, and finally when I checked out they refused to give me the 10 pounds back for the key because they said it was not listed, a lovely way to get the most money out of their guest, please don't go to that hostel, it's better to sleep under the Tower Bridge probably
Great place to stay, cheap, full breakfast, staff ok. stayed 3 nights, well located, 1 min tube
Very low quality, yet very cheap. Lockers are not in rooms when stayed here.
