Had a great two night stay at Leeds City which is in an excellent location - close to the train station and also shops. All the staff were really friendly and a special mention to Janet who left some lovely Yorkshire treats in our room! Breakfast on both mornings, again, were excellent and we had dinner and drinks in the newly refurbished restaurant and bar which we both enjoyed. Couldn’t fault anything about the hotel and would definitely stay again and will recommend it to our friends. Thanks again for a brilliant stay.
Came here for 1 night. We checked in quickly with the friendly staff. Our room was clean, fresh and spacious. There were tea/coffee making facilities to hand. The main bar in reception was being renovated but we were still able to get a drink which was nice. The lobby area was well presented, modern with lots of seating. We had paid for breakfast this was from 7 until 10. It was buffet style. The choice of food was outstanding. Fruit, pastries, cooked meats, eggs, cereal, porridge, gluten free, vegetarian. Tea, coffee, juice. You name it, it was there and tasted lovely. The restaurant where we ate was spacious and clean. As it was just one night we didn’t have time to use any of the facilities. But all in all it was a very nice hotel.
Heard parking isn't that good here so went to Q park. Very expensive £36 for under 24hrs. Rooms are good and breakfast was very good. Eggs not so. No mini fridge and air con wasn't working well. Bar was good and relaxing compared to what I thought was Gaza and hen nights in one city centre. Good locationRooms: 4/5
The hotel was clean, modern, and well located for the railway station. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in my room was broken, and there were no other rooms available for me to change. Reception did provide a fan though, but opening the window attracted a lot of unwanted noise from the adjacent railway station.Rooms: 3/5
Really really lovely stay, the receptionist was a trainee, can't remember your name sorry! Lovely man was absolutely lovely and accomodated to all my needs, understood my train was at 3pm so extended my room check out to a further time! would really reccomend the service here and the atmosphere is quite quaint. Looking forward to when renovations finish
Great location, close to the station and the main central areas. Hotels going through some refurbishment so various issues did impact my stay, no pool or restaurant because of this and breakfast on the fourth floor, no stairs in action until the fire alarm went off multiple times Car park on site, very small but was lucky to get a space. Bed was comfortable, shower hot and towels fluffy. Staff pleasant and friendly, I have noticed since returning home I have been overcharged on my bill, will have to try and pick this up with them and resolve.
Great location, fantastic breakfast. Had to change rooms at midnight as a Indian family in the adjoining room were all talking very loudly and singing. There were obviously more than 2 people in the room. Also, the Aircon wasn't working in the first room. The second room was larger and very quiet. The bed settee had a proper mattress on it and was very comfy. Free bottled water in rooms. Good provisions of shampoo, hand wash etc.
Stunning hotel, myself and husband stayed in suite 1216 and what a lovely room it is. Very very clean. The size of the room was perfect. The bed was super comfy and we had a brilliant nights sleep. The bathroom was cute and cosy. The full room was modern and lovely. We would like to thank the staff at Hilton City Centre for making the room perfect, petals on the bed, balloons, flowers and drinks left in ice buckets. Also we’d like to give Olivia a mention who was working on the evening 18/5/24 in the restaurant. She had a welcoming smile and she was always busy, not once did she stand around, she was always on her feet and on the move, myself and my husband were impressed. The food in the restaurant was spot on. Restaurant was a nice relaxing area and clean. On the night we ordered pizza to our room, again pizza was delicious. The following morning we had breakfasts delivered to the room and it was so nice, good quality, perfect food. The only down side was the parking, parking lot seemed narrow when turning to go up or down to another level and was worried of hitting our car, however, luckily we got in and out just fine. We hope to visit again. Thank you so very much for a lovely stay.
Chi the front desk agent was the highlight of our stay. She was very welcoming and very personable. She made us feel comfortable and valued. The rooms she assigned to us were excellent. The breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially the gentleman that helped me get hot sauce. My apologies for not knowing his name. He was also the host that sat us down. Great stay and God bless! Nearby activities: Lots of restaurants and shops within a 10 minute walking distance. Walkability: Very walkable to restaurants and shops.
Renovation was happening to improve the hotel, so as expected many amenities were unavailable. I was only staying for one night for business which suited me well. Right next to the train station, this does mean you can hear the diesel engines when the trains are ready to depart.
