The hotel seemed like a good idea - 4* and convenient location should have done a trick to make a stay during the business trip comfortable. However, the room was small and in desperate need of refurbishment see pictures. Clearly not what one would expect. On the bright side, the bed was comfy and clean, the staff was hard working and kind and the breakfast contained many options and was of good quality. I will check other options before I return to this one when in Leeds. Rooms: I cannot say about the other rooms but the one I stayed in was disappointing to say it mildly. I've stayed in many 3* hotels that were in much better condition than this one. It wasn't worth the money. Food & drinks: The breakfast included in my stay had lots of options and was one I would expect for the 4* hotel. The juice was fresh and the coffee was of good quality. There was a good selection of full English breakfast and continental pastries, fresh fruits and yogurt to choose from. Good value for money.
As we entered the lobby we expected great things, although there was scaffolding outside the hotel frontage. We were solely disappointed! The room interior and decor was so tired and shabby the repair work was slipshod, really quite bad for a hotel costing over £110 a night. Three bus stops outside the front of the hotel which led to a very noisy night till the wee hours. The original windows have no noise barrier whatsoever. Felt dark and dingy in the room. It was like staying in a youth hostel! The bathroom was something out of an old people’s home and don’t get me started on the pillows. So bad, lumpy , felt like little stones against your head and had a crick in my neck so bad in the middle of the night I had to try sleep without the pillow. It really was quite archaic, thank god we hadn’t signed up for breakfast as well!
Nice location for centre of Leeds and train station however the rooms are very tired and dated. Very noisy can hear house keeping cleaning rooms from down the corridor and with the scaffolding up and work going on can't open the windows or the curtains. wasn't made aware of this or reflected in the price . The bathroom was OK no blind on the window just some frosting that you could make out shapes through. Breakfast was good, buffet style although can ask the chef for some poached / fried eggs if that's what you like.
I booked this hotel for my friend to stay in July. Apart from the location, everything else was quite poor. There was a refurbishment going on which we were unaware of!! The safe didn't work. There was no spate toothbrush or slippers in the room. There were quite a lot of noise and building work going on . The rooms looked quite tatty!Rooms: 2/5
Decent location and decent rooms but poor service only decent thing is the location, there’s a mall close by with lots of places to eat and the museum is close by as well No fridge in rooms, no extra amenities, poor staffing, and you can’t get external food heated up due to whatever reasons and all staff don’t even obey the same rules, overpriced breakfast, the room is pretty old and a bit dirty as well and a lot of construction noise and men being able to see you through your window during the day Do well and book priemer inn
Josh Middleton is an absolute credit to your company. The service was amazing. He helped us with every query. I admitted we were looking at other hotels for a short stay. We was surprised when he advised us of other local hotels in the area. However, from the first initial phone call to meeting him in person. It was a no brainer as to where we was staying. Thank you so much. We stay in hotels all the time due to production work and never ever have we once received the feedback from Josh.
Very disappointing- absolutely not 4*! Room was in desperate state if repair- cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, filler in bath, dirty skirting boards, floors caving in! Not worth c£90 special corporate rate. Whilst I appreciate they are mid refurbishment, but suggest they close the rooms not yet refurbished. Building surrounded by scaffolding with people banging & walking on scaffolding at 3am. Staff arguing in corridor at 6am. I recommend if you're in Leeds you find alternative accommodation.
Arrived very late due to flight issues. The receptionist went the extra mile. Start of the cold nights, yet the room and building was warm. No complaints.Rooms: 5/5
Room was a reasonable size for a junior room, plenty big enough for our needs and a great price. Decor was good and bed comfortable. Shower could have been more powerful but water was good and hot. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Overall very good and will stay there again. Nearby activities: If you like Thai food, there's a little Thai restaurant called My Thai just around the corner, highly recommended. Great food and very reasonable prices
Attended a business meeting in one of the meeting rooms. The location on King Street is very close to the train station, less than 5 minutes walk, so it is very easy to access directly from your arrival. Good quality lunch buffets are available, with good healthy choices to compliment traditional buffets. Break out areas have very good selections of tea and coffee too. The rooms are comfortable and well laid out. There does appear to be some renovation work taking place, which will benefit the overall appearance. Rooms: Needs a refresh, but other than that no issues
