I have recently joined this practice, and Higham Hill stands in stark contrast to my previous experience! Here, I have been treated with respect, and my concerns have been genuinely heard and understood. I feel truly cared for; the anxiety I once felt about visiting a doctor's surgery has disappeared, as I no longer need to justify myself to indifferent doctors or receptionists. I have met with three different doctors and a nurse, all of whom have been empathetic, supportive, and excellent listeners. The reception team has also been incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. It's refreshing to know that I can always reach the surgery, and everyone is eager to assist me. My only feedback would be regarding my interaction with the office manager while addressing a concern. Although I don't believe it was intentional, their tone came across as quite direct, and a more compassionate approach would have been appreciated. Overall, my experience with this surgery has been excellent, and so far I have no complaints.
Fantastic surgery, feel very lucky to have this excellent local service. Available appointments, friendly and professional staff, phone calls promptly answered. The nurse is such a superstar and always goes the extra mile to help. Many thanks! This is exactly what I hope from the NHS, top standards of care.
Although often hard to get appointment if it’s a very serious on going issue they do their best to fit you in. All the doctors are fantastic bar one. I feel safe and cared for and trust this surgery. I would recommend this practice to anyone
If you read one thing: please don't pick your GP based on Google star ratings. I've always had a great experience here. The reception staff are polite and helpful. All of the doctors are diligent and efficient. Keep up the good work.
The new staff so nice and polite dealing. Doctor Devia always best doctor solve my problem every time. Overall surgery is so good.
The reception staff and management, excluding the GPs themselves, are highly unprofessional. The staff act as if they are medically trained professionals, offering their own opinions and judgments while disregarding the needs of patients seeking timely appointments. One must often plead their case to secure an appointment. If a patient is assertive, the practice manager, Ms. Xu, and Ayesha unfairly remove their name from the surgery without any reason. As a taxpayer, one should not have to endure such unprofessional behavior and discrimination. It’s no wonder the NHS is struggling with unprofessional staff like those at this surgery.
This is the best surgery in Walthamstow at the moment. The service and treatment provided here is one of the best I’ve seen. I was able to get appointment face to face the same day. I’ve had issues with my health for the past 2 years where doctors were not able to diagnose. However, I had a same day appointment with Sumanpreet the physician she diagnosed my health issue that same day and gave me steroids which has benefited my health so much. Ambreen Akhtar
Overall really happy with this surgery, they have improved a lot over the past few years. Personally I would like to thank Dr Hunjan for being very considerate and kind - he is a great doctor and always helps out!
The experience at this GP was great. My doctor was very nice and polite and professional. Overall would definitely recommend this GP to others.
Small GP practice, was clean throughout, although it says on their Website no parking, if you have a disabled badge then you can park in permit holders bays. The surgery was not busy and I was seen quite quickly.
