I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Debbie from the NHS, and I couldn't be more grateful for her exceptional support. The surgery has always been excellent for me with my healthcare and my daughter’s. The doctors are all really lovely and always seem caring, understanding and empathetic. They have referred when needed. Perhaps it’s sometimes hard/takes a while to get an appointment but that’s the same everywhere at the moment I think. And I must admit some of the reception staff arnt always as helpful as you might like. Generally I’m very impressed and feel glad to be near a good one.
Let me start by saying that the GP's are great, I have never had a problem with any of them. However, the reception staff are so rude and unhelpful. Brenda especially likes to get herself involved just making matters worse. I have never met receptionist with such a stinking attitude. Clearly to work in this surgery you need to have a diploma in being rude and incompetent. They wonder why so many people are annoyed with them it is because of their unhelpful attitudes. If the owner would like to discuss this further please feel free to get my details off your system. I will look forward to hearing from you
Near to impossible to get an appt, only time you can make an appt is early morning before 8:10am, and it has to be done online. Reception staff are extremely unhelpful and can't seem to do anything. They have a can't be bothered attitude. Doctors are good but just way too hard to get a hold off. This GP needs a turnover and better management to improve the quality of service.
I never had any issues with my gps here, they all really good. but lately the reception staff are so rude and the way the speak to you, you can feel they can't be bothered to speak or find out things, lucky i was on the phone because if i was in person think i wouldn't be able to shut my mouth and tell them about themselves. Sort it out please..
Most of the receptionist are rude, they are either not given adequate training or too lazy to do their job! The booking system for appointment is capped from 8.10- 8.30am, so it's almost impossible to book an appointment! This surgery will definitely cause further stress to those that require assistance or help vulnerable adults. On a lighter note, the Drs that I've seen seem to be okay and helpful. IMO the receptionists need further training on manners and standard surgery procedures!
This is an excellent health centre. The staff and doctors are superb. They have been a trusted and reliable team. Dr. Ross and Dr Tania Anastasiadis have gone above and beyond for my family throughout the years.
I've been registered at this surgery since 1986 and I've always had good things to say, but the standards has gone to pot. What's the point in having receptionists that don't book appointments? And what about the older generation that don't know how to do online forms? And why do the receptionists speak as though you're bothering them? It's time for a change because quite honestly i get overly anxious at the thought of calling anymore. As a patient with a very serious illness, I shouldn't be made to feel like this. And since when do I have to discuss my medical issue with a bloody receptionist? St Stephens health center need to fix the hell up!!! Bloody ridiculous.
Came to this Gp with my mum a pensioner have been told by doctor to repeat prescription. Once we went to talk to receptionist-didn’t sound like he actually understood what’s going on or what I was talking about. He told me that can not ask for repeat as she did t have that for something like 6 month ‍‍‍I mean really when a month ago we got that from another his colleague and it wasn’t an issue . Then he told me it is in the system BUT still can not repeat it as first will have to wait for the phone call from their pharmacy and to find out why does she need that and so ‍‍once againit’s when doctor told her to do so !!!! They don’t know the reason. Then I asked to make appointment with doctor for other reason - he started to tell me that not possible as it’s can take longer to get prescription or so . I didn’t really understood his point ,tried to be smart or what -BUT IT WAS KINDA OF RUDE WAY THE WAY HE WAS TALKING didn’t even let me to finish why w shave to book appointment. And when he start asking what’s the reason for the appointment !??? I told him very important reason that pensioner with planty of issues and can not sleep NIGHTS because of pain! He said “I cannot do it though the seat as I deciding how URGENT IT IS !!!! I was shocked ! He is not a doctor and doesn’t know what’s the problem . And send as to do it online ! First it’s a old person doesn’t know how to use this consulting or so , second this is very serious mistake to take that big responsibility for someone health without any real diplom as a doctor or so ! Things have to be changed for sure ! Especially the attitude of some receptionists - IF THEY DONT LIKE THEIR JOB - they can fine something better and let other people to do this job who really will enjoy it! It’s is discusting experience.wish all the best .
Staff are useless. All I need is a tfl form to be signed, and the waiting time is two months because I missed they voice mail. No one even there. it's empty with only two receptionists.
