This morning, around 8.20 I submitted an Econsult form to change the date of a phone consultation.'About 20 seconds after I pressed "send" the phone rang and there was Elizabeth Ave reception in total efficiency mode helping me reschedule. The doctors are excellent, but front of house is fantastic. And they're really nice people. John Bacon
all staff are amazingly friendly with beautiful smiles. Could not feel more welcomed if tried. All receptionist whether it be over the telephone or in person have the most friendliest smiles. All my children are the last 21 years have been placed at the doctor surgery. I could not be more happy.shona
Don't look any further. Elizabeth Avenue is a really excellent practice. It's easy to get through to them by phone or online. The doctors are caring and understanding and able to help and the nurse, for smaller issues and advice, is great. My elderly mother has been a patient there for many years and wouldn't wish to be anywhere else.
I just really like this doctor's surgery. I haven't had a bad experience yet - the doctor's are friendly and helpful and it's just a nice atmosphere when you go in. I don't feel like you get this much these days, everything is business focused, so it's a pleasant change to still have people that seem to genuinely care and enjoy what they do. Dr O' Brien and Dr Mulvihill are my two favourites - just both want to help and are understanding and Fleur is lovely too - they're all really good at remembering who you are. The receptionist staff are friendly and welcoming and always helpful. My only reason for doing 4 instead of 5 stars is because I hate the eConsult process. I would much rather speak to people and always find filling in the forms time consuming and it's not a tech thing, I'm fine with that. I understand why they have it, but making a quick call and speaking to a receptionist will always be my preferred option for making appointments or queries. I still really like EAGP though, and am happy to be a patient here. I hope they keep doing what they're doing.
Submitted econsult on Friday, no one called me, as usual, but rather than getting a receptionist to call me about offering the appropriate appointment that I could make, they sent a text with an appointment for the Monday morning. Unfortunately I couldn’t make the time so I spent 20 minutes in a queue on the phone I was only 2nd in the queue!!! to be told even though they had a nurse appointment on the Wednesday that I could attend I’d have to resubmit an econsult to have that appointment !!! What a total waste of everyone’s time. A ridiculous service I’ll definitely be registering somewhere else. They NEVER want to talk to their patients. Nurse Fleur is excellent but everyone else is so uncaring and difficult to communicate with.
Using the e-consult service always works very well. I sent in an appointment request at 7am in the morning for a chest infection/cough/breathlessness issue. Dr Ramesh phoned me back at 8:40am the same morning. I got a 9:30am appointment and the good news that I didn't have an infection. Top marks. Thanks also to Marwa and Ann who were extremely helpful in setting up my Patient Access Account to enable me to access all of my health records.
I am very happy with Elizabeth Avenue GP practice and really appreciate all the services they provide for us. I have been to so many GPs in past and Elizabeth avenues group practice is the best GP, Dr Ramesh and his team is great they always do their best and they provide you with the best service.
The whole staff has always been very helpful with me and my family. The doctors I have had appointments with were always very reassuring and the reception team has always been very helpful! I have been registered with this Practice for a long time and they never disappointed me. Keep up the great work. :
Very short tempered receptionists. Waited the whole day yesterday after they said they would call and did not call us. We filled in the E consult form 4 times and have told them it’s not working for us and they kept telling us to do it again even though we have done it again and again and have asked for help. They are unwilling to help and very disrespectful. Not happy with the service from reception, would not recommend.
My experience my many years has been very professional the staff are very polite and helpful always accommodating the doctors I have seen are very professional listening ear, very supportive I thank them for their hard work and i appreciated all they do.
