Their receptionists are really lovely at the moment however it hasnt always been the case. I have been supported through some really challenging times with the Gp’s & although it wasn't always the case - on the whole I do feel very listened to and have always been referred quite quickly when required. The nurses are outstanding!
I have been a patient of Dr Wardle for 35+ years. She is a fantastic doctor, professional and dedicated to her patients. I find her colleagues and staff are also excellent. We are lucky to have Christchurch Hall Surgery in our area.
It's really difficult to read all those negative comment towards Dr Wardle and all staff from the surgery. I have never have any problem requesting an appointment or prescriptions. Girls are really lovely and try to help as much as they can. I had a lot of appointments which neither the surgery or myself received any letters from with a prescription. Surgery managed to chase up those and prescribed the medication within few days so I didn't have to travel all the way to UCLH hospital for prescription. Dr Wardle is really passionate doctor which knows her patients. I always book with her as she remembers my history and I don't have to explain her everything from the beginning. I really appreciate they care for me and my family.
Without a doubt, one of the worst GP practices in the area - the doctors are unprofessional and out of their depth. A minor but annoyingly persistent issue problem that they have been unsuccessfully trying to treat for years was solved in a minute by a pharmacist in France. Utter waste of taxpayers’ money! The lot of them are completely unprofessional and should be ashamed of how they treat patients.
The best surgery I've ever been with. Dr Wardle, Dr Rene' and Dr Wheeler are all excellent doctors, who know their stuff and who listen. The people on reception are very good too. So many people complain about their GP surgeries, but I'm very grateful to be with mine.
Just before Christmas i called a telephone appointment. As I went tonthe whittington the a blood pressure over 200. I went down do my blood pressure and my head felt that someone had kicked me in it. Doctor Wardel just looked at me and walked pass me. I could not do a proper reading. My results were very high and Doctor Vernon told me to come back every day to do my blood test and he might give me something on friday. That was information he gave to the receptionists. I was in so much pain. In the end, Dr Wardel gave me some migraine tablets around 6 oclock in the evening, which didn't work. I ended up in hospital they did a CT scan and noticed that i had a bleed on the brain. I have been with this surgery for over 40 years. i think it's time for this service to close.
We have been at this surgery for years and after several bad experiences, finally found an alternative and decided to move. Here are the reasons why: The nurse has one of the worst bedside manners we have ever seen. She is rude, unhelpful and unsympathetic. Both my children start crying the minute they walk in there and she has never tried to re-assure them in any way. Vaccinations have been traumatic to say the least. Reception staff are rude and entitled and always make you feel like you would be lucky to get any treatment at all. We have had a series of misdiagnosis and bad experiences from the doctors too and have honestly given up on them and look elsewhere for help if we need serious medical advice. All in all, this has been a very bad experience for us as a family medical practice and we avoid going to the doctor at all costs. If you are looking for a practice that you can trust and are invested in your wellbeing, look somewhere else if you can.
Would not recommend this practice! Extremely rude doctors, the receptionists are complete blockers when trying to see a doctor urgently or get a prescription! Just rude and have no skills whatsoever to work with the public! Avoid at all levels!
Without a doubt one of the worst GP practices I have ever been to; it seems as though all the Drs are well trained in patronising and belittling patients! Recently all my appointments with Dr Vernon have been ending with him telling me to go elsewhere if I don't like things rather then him helping. The practice manager is no better as she lost her head when I asked for their reason to deny my referral in writing. The lot of them are completely unprofessional and should be ashamed of how they treat patients. Its just a matter of time before something horrible happens to a patient in their care all because they can't get off high horse and do their job properly.
I have been a patient of Dr Wardle from when her surgery was on Crouch Hill. I have always found her very professional. She has listened carefully to the description of my symptoms and given me good advice, prescriptions or referrals to specialists as necessary. The practice nurses and receptionists have always been kind and helpful and I do not agree with the criticisms in the previous reviews.
