Perfect for an overnight stay between flights. Literally across the road from Liverpool John Lennon Airport. Rooms are no frills but have everything you need. Kettle with free tea and coffee. Free toiletries. Individual control of the aircon, particularly useful in our case. The breakfast is very good, something for everyone and it starts from 4am so no problem for early fliers to have a hearty breakfast cooked from 6am. We also had an evening meal and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality. Choice is limited but very well presented. Staff very helpful and friendly.
The problem is the beds. We had a double bed and a pull out bed in our room. The main bed was hard, uncomfortable, you could feel and hear springs, there was no give and it felt like it was 1 inch thick. Compared to beds at even budget hotels, let alone a place that has the name Hilton above the door, these were the worst beds I've had at a hotel. The pull out bed felt worse than a camping stretcher, and we got maybe an hour sleep on it. The location is excellent for the airport, albeit having to get two elevators to get to reception is very odd. The service from staff had nothing to complain about and they were very pleasant. We requested a quiet room as we had a baby, and they were happy to help. The rooms were fine and clean. Most of it was clean but there were stains on some towels, the pillow cases and the sheets. The air-conditioning worked and make the room cool but you had to choose between a loud whirring enough to wake a toddler, or a stifling room
We are a family of 4. We stayed a night to catch the flight home today. Check in was smooth. The room was spacious and spotless. The view is amazing. Breakfast is great. Really good value for money and would be very happy to stay here again.Rooms: 5/5
Great location for airport and excellent parking rates. Staff were really helpful and efficient. One downside was the lack of amenities in the room. For the price we expected there to be the basics. They didn't provide any bottled water, gave us only 2 teabags and there were no biscuits! I've had more in much cheaper hotels. We had to go to the hotel bar to get 2 bottles of water and a chocolate bar which came to £9! Disappointing.
Across the road from Arrivals and departure lounge at John Lennon. Literally a 30 second walk. A lovely hotel, well appointed with great views over the runway and the Mersey. Very comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. We will make a point of flying from here in future. Its extended our holiday by a day really.Rooms: 5/5
Ideal as straight across the road from the airport. Rooms are adequate. Unfortunately, the breakfast was in a bag as they had problems with the kitchen. There were no toilets on the ground floor you had to go to your room. Also, they take a £50 deposit from you on arrival. This wasn't mentioned on the original booking. The young serving staff in the restaurant were very pleasant, but l have to say the reception staff weren't at all. Will only stay again if l absolutely had to.
We stayed at this hotel 2nd August to 4th August as we were getting married nearby on 3rd August. This hotel absolutely exceeded my expectations. I stayed the first night with my bridesmaids and we were greeted in our room with a bottle of fizz and some snacks with a lovely welcome message written on the mirror! Room was lovely and spacious for us to get glammed in for the day and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent! Second night I stayed with my new hubby and again we were greeted in our room with another bottle of fizz and a congratulations message! The staff were amazing and done this hotel so proud. In particular Amanda on the front desk was fantastic, took some pics of me and the bridesmaids as we were leaving for the wedding and is going to send them to me. Thanks Hampton by Hilton you made our day extra special!
Great stop over for Liverpool airport. Clean, great rooms with really nice bathrooms. Bar service very slow - 3 staff on reception which was quiet and 1 on bar duty which was busy. Took around 10 mins to order when there were only 2 people in front. Rooms: Spacious and modern with great view over runway and Mersey. Lovely bathroom - clean and no mould anywhere!! Very unusual now! Food & drinks: Food choice limited but tasty. Breakfast buffet adequate. Bar service too slow.
Great hotel directly opposite The John Lennon Liverpool airport. Stayed overnight and had evening meal and breakfast. Rooms were first class and food was excellent. Thoroughly recommend a stay.Rooms: 5/5
