Nice place full of history and style. Beautiful building and service. Just selection of food for dinner is limited. I enjoy the stay a lot. It is an ex airport from Beatles times. So used a lot by John Lennon,.....Rooms: 5/5
Overall a very good stay, but the first room I was allocated had a bathroom that hadn’t been cleaned and no towels. This was quickly rectified by reception, however. The second room was well-appointed and had everything I needed for the stay. The breakfast was generally more Holiday Inn than Crowne Plaza standard, but it was fine. Use of the David Lloyd club next door was a massive bonus, and I’d stay here again just for that.
The rooms are OK. There are only a couple of fast food restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The rooms are very noisy. Despite everything, I was satisfied. For me, the proximity to the JLR factory was the deciding factor.Rooms: 4/5
We were here for a family party. Staff so helpful & friendly. Food fantastic & it kept on being replenished. Great for a do, but we weren't able to get a room so we had to park, which was free as we were guests.
Beautiful art deco hotel, well maintained with well equipped bedrooms in theme with the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. I didn't have time for a sit down breakfast but the staff assisted with a takeaway breakfast. First class service and facilities. Love it. Will be back.Rooms: 5/5
My original room was a little cramped, but fine, it had a dank smell and the phone did not work for reception contact, however a curtain was missing so they upgraded me to a suite which was really spacious and nice, with a fridge which was a bonus. The food was lovely at night. However, breakfast ended at 930, so I missed it when I arrived at 940, my error but I am sure I was told 10 when I checked in. They did offer cereal and drinks. The rooms were quiet. There are no phones in the room to reach reception, and they do not answer the phone, so after 8 tries to find out what time to check out, I had to go down. Overall a nice hotel.
But the Tv doesn't work ! I tell that to reception and 5 minutes after I have new remote control! It's fine I could watch now Olympic games ! But BBC is too nationalist I see only British sports! Noteworthy details: Tv doesn't work
Perfect for the airport and a 30 minute bus ride into the city. The staff were excellent and welcoming as you come to expect in Liverpool.Rooms: 5/5
No more immigrants living here they have been shipped out, so it’s back to business for this hotel, great place with good parking and helpful staff also Speke retail is over the road for food or cinemaRooms: 4/5
It was a nice hotel... Maybe 3 years ago. Service isn't good, young waiters that don't care nothing. House keeping placed 2 bottles of water one time in 3 weeks of stay, they forgot the loundry bag every time, they says 1 day option for the loundry and it returns 2 days after, if you ask for water after 11.000m shift change the water is free... If you ask for water before 11.00pm you have to pay not cheap at all. Never got the points for "enjoy a greener stay" no house keeping 500 points X 10 days. Food nothing special, better 3 years ago. Nice position, nothing else for now. Diamond Elite IHG member
